To Make a Difference

To make a difference is to smile,
To hold hands and just to be there awhile.
To make a difference is to comfort with a hug,
Or just to make a person feel very snug.
To make a difference is to say it's alright,
And just to make someone know that tomorrow will be bright.
To make a difference is to care,
And let someone know that you are always there.
To make a difference is to love,
To show others that there is Someone who cares above.
To make a difference is to be like Jesus,
Who so very long ago gave us an example of how to treat others.
Do I make a difference?
