  FAQ

  • Why should I add a Prayer Request?

Because God answers prayer: "Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know." (Jeremiah 33:3). It's so important to pray for one another as we join together to bring our requests before the Lord: "Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven." (Matthew 18:19). Prayer is not about manipulating God or seeking selfish results, so we need to realize that God will answer these requests in His own way: "Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven." (Matthew 6:10). This is what the Bible promises: "Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him." (1 John 5:14-15).
