The album is entitled "Looking at You" and it's a wonderful blend of piano, cello, flute, and harp. This instrumental collection of relaxing music is great for drawing your mind upward towards heaven.

For His Honor is a group of talented young siblings who love to make music that glorifies Jesus Christ. What do they hope to accomplish? It is our humble desire to encourage and uplift others by helping them see the vision God has for His children.  New Music: Stanton Lanier - "Draw Near" Posted on 10-11-2004
WOTR News Article imageNew Music: Stanton Lanier We are very pleased to bring you the music of Stanton Lanier here on Word of Truth Radio! Stanton’s desire is to share the light of God’s word, and to draw listeners closer to Him as they experience his soothing melodies. He believes that we all long for peace, stillness, and calm in a world full of stress, busyness, and hurry. His hope is that his Music to Light the World™ will be instrumental in helping listeners find eternal peace, joy, and contentment through a personal and deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

His latest CD is entitled "Draw Near" 10 original instrumentals and the piano melodies on this album are some of the most beautiful songs we've heard! Here's what Stanton says: "Draw Near has been a very special project for me. The promise “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you” from James 4:8 has become a profound truth in my life. This CD is a result of seeking to “draw near” to God, to know Him more deeply as my friend, and to experience His presence in my life each day. The music expresses scripture that God has used in my journey over the past year. I hope each verse and melody speaks to you very personally, and encourages you to reflect on your life, your purpose, and your relationship with God. I pray that in the days ahead you will draw near to God and grow in your friendship with Jesus."

Here is the track list for "Draw Near":
1. FIRST LOVE. 1 John 4:16, 19
2. CALL TO ME. Jeremiah 33:3
3. SIMPLICITY. Ecclesiastes 7:29 and 2 Corinthians 11:3

9. SURRENDER. Proverbs 3:5-6
10. DRAW NEAR. James 4:8

We've also added music from Stanton's second CD entitled "Still Waters"

This album contains more of the same great original piano songs by Stanton Lanier. I think it's wonderful how each track is based upon a Scripture, making it easy to meditate on those verse as you listen:

How Beautiful: Romans 10:15 " . . . How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!" Romans 10:9 "That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."

In The Morning: Psalm 5:3 "In the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation."

Joyful: Psalm 100:1 "Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth."

Silence: Habakkuk 2:20 "But the Lord is in his holy temple; let all the earth be silent before him."

More Precious: Proverbs 31:10 "A good wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels."

Behold: Matthew 1:23 "Behold, a virgin shall be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call his name Immanuel, which means, 'God with us.' "

Shine: Numbers 6:24-26 "The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace."

Turn Away: Psalm 119:37 "Turn away my eyes from looking at worthless things, and revive me in your way."

First And Last: Revelation 22:13 "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End."

Still Waters: Psalm 23:2-3 "He makes me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul."

 Bible Facts Posted on 10-3-2004
WOTR News Article Here are some interesting Bible facts for you to enjoy:

Shortest Chapter in the Bible: Psalm 117
Longest Chapter: Psalm 119
Center Chapter: Psalm 118

That's neat how the middle chapter is wedged in between the shortest and longest chapters!

There are 594 chapters before Psalms 118 > Fact: There are 594 chapters after Psalms 118 > Add these numbers up and you get 1188. In addition, Psalm 118:8 is the center verse in the Bible!! What does it say? "It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man." Well, that pretty much sums it up, don't you think? Also, "the LORD" are the two middle words in that verse. God is the center of the Bible in more ways than one!

The longest chapter, Psalm 119, contains 176 verses. The number "176" just happens to be 16x11. The famous Kings James Version that is the standard we know and love today was printed in 1611! And the Word of God is a main theme of Psalm 119.

In 1452, Johannes Gutenberg, inventor of the printing press, printed the very the very first book: the Bible. Life Magazine called this the single most important event of the second millennium.

Ingersoll, that Famous skeptic, said, "Ten years from today and the Bible will be a dead book." Ingersoll died 8 years later. The Book lives on.

"In 100 years, the Bible will only be found in a museum." Voltaire said that over 150 years ago, but thousands of Bibles are still being produced on a daily basis. The grass withers, the flower fades, but God's Word remains forever.
Isaiah 40:8 - 1 Peter 1:22-25

"Men do not reject the Bible because it contradicts itself, but because it contradicts them." Author Unknown

Here are a couple other amazing facts I found:

About 50 Bibles are sold every minute!!

The first ever vocal radio broadcast took place on December 24, 1906
which consisted of a reading from Luke 2.

Have you ever heard of Isaiah referred to as "The Gospel Prophet"? Here are some more reasons why that is a good title for him:

**Bible: 66 books.
**Isaiah: 66 chapters.

**Bible: First 39 books mainly concern Israel.
**Isaiah: First 39 chapters mainly concern Israel.

**Bible: Last 27 books concern the life and coming of Jesus Christ.
**Isaiah: Last 27 chapters concern the life and coming of Jesus Christ.
