John Lomacang

Born, raised, and educated in New York, John Lomacang was raised in a musical household. He began singing professionally in 1984 as a tenor with the internationally acclaimed Heritage Singers. He sang with them full-time for two years, and has continued singing periodically with them ever since.

John has traveled to about 21 foreign countries singing and preaching the good news of the Gospel. He loves singing, teaching and preaching for the Lord.

"Surrender": The passionate message behind each of the songs on this debut album is that God can still part the waters and quench our thirsty souls. Songs like "I Give All My Life to You", "There Stands the Cost", "Out of My Hands", "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus", and more, speak to the need in all of our hearts to surrender to God's grace and divine guidance. Listen and be reminded that your life is in His hands.

John's latest release, "Never Alone", includes the title song plus "If He Only Knew", "Momma’s Prayer", "The Gift", "Just Be There", and "I Believe in a Hill Called Mt. Calvary", plus many others. The music will encourage those who are sad, lonely, discouraged, or feel abandoned. John’s rich tenor voice is backed by orchestra and background vocalists.

John's self biographical book, Abandoned but Not Alone, tells the fascinating story of this pastor, recording artist, and a one-time "motherless" child. As he toured the nation with the Heritage Singer he grew immediate notoriety, yet few knew the painful, yet miraculous story of how God helped John find the missing pieces of his life. From a tiny apartment in New York, to the stage with the Heritage Singers, to the arms of his real mother at last, John may have been abandoned, but he was never alone.
