It is rare that I think of music being bad,
My musical background
-Drum set - 10 years
-Percussion (including Piano) 7 years
-Mixing/editing music from star wars films, and editing ochestrated music- 3 years
- Garage bands 2 for 5 years
Some of the reasons I stay away from mass produced music like fall otu boy, or panic at the disco, it isnt bad music, it is just that I see no distinction between the two bands, in fact at one point i thought one song was from fall out boy instead it was actually from panic of the disco, and I am no scholar in music or musik (in german), but I have to say I have trained myself from hearing "fuzz" from a line of prof. snare drum players, and if I hear no distinction in bands then mass production of music has distained a certain style. Where all the bands i have listed like Alice n chains, or RHCP are clearly two distinct sounds from around the same decade.
This only shows the distinction of style beat, talent, musical climax, voice lyrics, and then the musical ability of each muscian like TOOL is a highly musicly talented group that holds great potential.
