Topic: A Massive Appreciation to Everyone

Hey all,
Not sure if many of you all actually remember me as I know its been a wee while but I?ve been feeling kind of nostalgic and like yeah felt like just popping on here and I guess say a few things.

I am not going to lie I have been debating doing this for a long time now and now I am like why not there is nothing to lose if I don?t.

I think the last time I was active here and with you all I was about like I want to say maybe 15 and coming to the end of my time at High School. Well now I?m like basically 21 (in like 2 months so basically now) and I am actually now doing my second year at Uni. I guess I am saying this because I just this may sound sappy but hey ho, I kinda wanna just like thank you all for like everything you all taught me during my teen years. I feel like I have become a better version of myself and have come to know myself a lot more than I probably would of if I didn?t have those experiences and I guess lessons with everyone in the games and all.
The time spent playing with you all really made my teen years bearable in some ways and helped me deal with things and also experience good times when things were rough I know I could log onto TOR and see everyone online chat with you all and really make any day 100x times better. 

And I guess the last thing I really just want to say is that I do miss even more so these days, logging on and playing TOR or even JKA with everyone and hopefully (I mean yeah) sometime those fun times will come back and find something where it can happen all over again.

So really the TLDR of this is I am so grateful of everything I have learned and experienced from you all and the massive impact it had on me growing up.

I know exactly how you feel, the very special people I was lucky to of been able to get to know and enjoy these games with - I will never forget. I miss all the good times even the bad, because all of it was a path of learning more about myself and who I was whilst being able to benefit others at the same time. You wrote a very touching message, I?m sure many of us feel the same or similar about our experiences with this amazing and truly unique family of gamers. There are no words to describe how special this whole experience has been for me.

Of course you're remembered. Glad to see you're doing well, and it means a lot to hear about the impact this place made on you. Like Master Yanto said, it's a sentiment many of us have. Not only has *<JO>* always been a particularly great place, but online games in general had much more of a community feel than they do now. It was also a simpler time for our younger selves with different stresses. This place was an easy escape.

Has it been that long? How?!

*<JO>* was always special. I could feel it from the start. And I tried to give back, and judging by your post Jedi Thyn'eah, I think things went pretty well.

Master Alpha raises a valid point. The world around us is a hectic place, and the same can be said for online games these days. You can't really just hangout in a FPS shooter like the Battlefront games are. JKA and TOR both had that, you could just sit around and chat, often until first light. I remember going to bed at 4 am on a Friday (or technically Saturday) was the norm for me, rather than exception, back in 2012-2013.

Hey all, sorry its taking me a long time to reply to this post and all of your comments got busy with university and then life got hard.  Glad to see many people had the same thoughts, feelings and that it all had the same impact on you all as well. I?ve been doing kinda alright these days during everything, being in uni during it all is kinda difficult and ruined the experience a little but hopefully my last year will be much better! I can?t lie I do miss the conversations and the chilling with yall for like hours. Hopefully one day sometime we can all do something on some kind of game or something again. Would be so nice to spend time around you all again.

Yeah I'm with you on that, this guild was my life for a while there in my last few years of school. I do feel nostalgic for those days where I was a lowly free to play player and had to ask for help in beating a boss cause I was very underleveled lol. I do hope we can do something again, I logged back onto Ayelri on swtor a while back and it seems the jedi order guild name has been stolen by a russian speaking guild at some point, most likely due to inactivity which is a shame. Still names don't really matter do they, it's the company you keep
