Topic: I subscribed for two months

Hi guys!

A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one. (Too much time spent on Star Wars Reddit )

It's been a very, very long time, but I have subscribed to TOR for the next two months.

How? Why? What? Well, I recently bought this fancy mouse that has 12 macro buttons and decided to test it out in TOR with some rotations. Turns out there was a XP boost event going on, so I thought, why not try to complete the class stories I had not yet done. So, in a week or two, I completed 5 class stories.... I got hooked.

Now, I've moved on to the new past level 55 content, and for that I needed subscription.

Would be nice to see some familiar faces after years (!) of silence. Have some fun.

The guild is still up, feel free to pop in some time! (Not right now though, 4 hour downtime for 5.2 update which also ends the 250% exp boost).

Never really enjoyed that game, though, Battlefront II might excite me! Trailers looks nice.

I tried to start playing again a little while ago, but I only managed to get off the starting planet. Once I closed the game, I felt absolutely no compulsion to start it up again

Battlefront II might be good, if they include everything that wasn't in the first one

I actually came back to the game in October, played it for a few months until January. Ended up in a crappy guild which sucked the joy out it all 

I would actually recommend coming back, the new Knights of the Eternal Empire or whatever it's called is actually really good, very cinematic. Sadly, I had to rush through it because their way of giving incentive to play was to set a series of tasks, which basically translated to "rush through the expansion, rush through the flashpoints, power level like crazy". That didn't do much to help.

I may jump back into the game over the weekend, I have had a big of an urge to go back to it

Considering, for what ever reason, I'm now head of the guild in game and can bring in any new characters if need be

Yesterday I managed to finally get one character from all 8 classes to level 70 (which, if you didn't know, is the current cap). One objective of the subscription achieved!

My subscription just ran out. I'm not going to renew it just now, things are way too hectic at the moment trying to balance work and thesis work(!). Hopefully things calm down after graduation (hopefully this year). I will be popping in-game from time to time but all level 70 content is basically sub-only, meaning I got little to do.

PS. Wellkey, you got set as the guildmaster, as all my characters went inactive. I guess since you are a sub or spent a long time in the guild or something similar?
