Tharini's Armoury

I'll be making a separate thread for each of my characters, starting with my Bosmer vampire, Tharini Shará:

First, her bow, Scorpion. The bow itself is made of bone, with chitin plates to reinforce it and leather wrapped around the grip.

I can't get over the wrapping, the leather, the thread.... I wish I could do that.

Also, what's the thread made out of, anyway? Intestine? I think they used cat guts in violin strings. (from Hannibal, it's not just a random fact I know)

Next, her dagger, Viper. I stuck with the bone and chitin, because they work really well together... and because I couldn't use wood or metal ::)

What's the pummel made of? It seems that it's sorta foam wrapping around iron heart (which protrudes as the axe head).

The haft and blade are bone, the brace around the head and blade is chitin and the grip is leather.
