TOR problem
« on: October 25, 2013, 01:41 PM »
I'm having a weird problem with tor.

I downloaded Origin, downloaded SWTOR 'launcher' and let it download everything.

When the launcher said it was done, I tried playing the game.

First time I launched the game the menus were super tiny. I mean, my character in the background was fullscreen, looking around (I think it's supposed to be like that in the main menu) but menus were like 1cm*1cm in my monitor, just small blur.

I tried closing TOR and start the game again. My character appeared again, but this time, no menus at all. just my character looking around.
I've tried restarting the game many times, always the same outcome. Today SWTOR launcher updated something and I got my hopes up, but no. still the same thing.

You guys know whats wrong with my game?

I would try finding your configuration files and deleting them (make a backup!). Perhaps you had some laying around from when you first played and something is getting confused. I would assume that the game would recreate them when you launch it.

I don't think that's it because I recently tried Linux Mint and then decided to go back to windows 8, I Formatted the whole hard drive and installed everything again.

I think you can edit interface size in the preferences... if you can get to them.

Try repairing the installation before you delete everything and start again ;)

Tried that, didn't help.

I decided to uninstall and download everything again, but with BitRaider disabled.
If that doesn't help, I'll try that next. Thanks!
