Topic: Random Lightsabers

I've run out of Jedi alts, so here is where I'll put lightsabers that have nothing to do with my JO characters 

First up is the saber of my Sith Assassin, Elarill:





A triple-helix of Krayt Dragon pearl around the grips and a magnetic hook:


Dewback Leather:

This one is a reimagining of a lightsaber I designed many years ago: my vision of a jawa's lightsaber 



A bottle cap from a popular beverage serves as the power switch:


A patch of rubber helps with grip and also covers a large and painfully jagged hole:


A portion of a wraid's skull, held in place by a double-row of metal rivets, and the tooth of a dewback (filed until it looks as if it came from a much more fearsome creature):




Another hole in the pipe, this time covered by a strip of gauze, leaving the core exposed:

Here's the saber of my Sorcerer, Vyssail. This time, I went for a more organic look, rather than the hard, machine-cut metal of Tabaet's sabers, or the raw aggression of Tanathy's    The switch is internal, and so is only accessible through the Force, and the glow effect remains active, even when the saber is turned off.













Womp rat claws are arranged around the emitter shroud:








By channelling the Force through her weapon, she can cause the blade to spark:

I've never played that, but I can confidently say: no it does not

I'm pretty sure it looks just like it.... just more... ribbed and metallic and glowy. I can easily visualise this design just....wiggling as you hold it....

But nice, I like it. Seems like a very complicated and time consuming design. I myself seem to have lost my motivation ever since school started again :\

I've made a new lightsaber, so I figured I might as well post it in my collection here

Looks pretty amazing the last one. But what's the function for the claw thingies?

They're mostly for decoration. I made it with a Cathar Sith in mind, so put some cat-like claws around the emitter, and they fold in to make it easier to store without jabbing yourself in the leg as you walk
