The Story of Jedi Wellkey Lawson
« on: May 18, 2013, 04:25 AM »
Born on Dantooine to a simple merchants, taken by Jedi Knight Zei'er on her trials to become Jedi Master. At age 2 living in Tython's Jedi Temple trying to live up to my potential. I progressed little faster then other students that is why Jedi Master who found me on Dantooine took me under her wing and started my extensive training in places I have never even known.
Master Zei'er sensed my strong connection to the Force that is why I became Jedi Consular. Everything was ideal until one unfortunate skirmish in the inner rim. Our regular patrol was attacked by Empire's dreadnought. Our ship and fighters were decimated in minutes. When we were boarded by Imperial soldiers and one powerful Sith my Master instructed me to run to shuttle and return to Tython. Zei'er gave me enough time to slip to a shuttle and escape. I sense her dying but knowing she was at peace that her only student is strong and alive. When I had time to think I felt conflicted. Jedi Code prohibits seeking revenge but I know I will find the Sith who killed my Master and then ...  I don't know what I'll do. My Master taught me about the short and one way to the dark side. I think I'll know what to do when I find him.

Diary Log: Day 3 - It has been 3 days since Zei'er died and I still didn't figure out what will I do with the Sith who killed her. There is just 6 of us on the shuttle. Pilot, officer, two engineers, soldier and me. We'll have to manage, somehow. But to most present concerns, pilot just informed me that we don't have enough fuel to get to Tython that we'll have to land on Onderon. They had some troubles with Mandalorians a while back. We'll just have to make some money and buy fuel to get to Tython to warn the Jedi Council. I just hope that the empire weren't following our shuttle. I could face the Sith but I fear I don't have proper training to face him. We can't be stuck in one place very long or we could make it much worse for the people of Onderon. Let's hope for the best. Well we will see tomorrow. May the Force be with us.

Diary Log: Day 4 - I had some time to calm and find some peace before landing. We had some problem with leadership when we landed usually I should be in charge but officer on shuttle didn't like that some Jedi with little training in these situations should be calling the shots. I tried to talk him down but after short negotiation rest of crew decided that he should lead us. I agreed because we need to work together. We set our way right to the embassy and found republic representative. He can get us on the fleet which will stop here to get supplies but then going to outer rim. I guess we will have to speak to admiral where he could drop us out. They are arriving in 2 days. So we decided to stay at the embassy. I had finally time to calm down and meditate. That's when I had vision of Zei'er death and Imperial dropship landing in familiar hangar.

After I snap out of my vision I went to look for that hanger to make sure if it's even on Onderon. It wasn't hard and I found the hanger is about 10 clicks from the embassy. It's getting dark already so I went back to the embassy that's when someone came running to me screaming "Master Jedi, please help me, help those men are trying to kill me". She stood behind me then the man shouted at me to move along. I replied that they should stay calm and tell me what is this all about. Men took his gun and started shooting. I pushed him to the wall and deflected his shot with my lightsaber. When the other saw I was a Jedi they run away. I took the girl to the embassy, along the way she told me that they are slavers and they have her family and neighbors. We got to the embassy she told it to the representative. But unfortunately his resources are scarce so he asked for my help to get rid of those slavers. I agreed of course the Jedi way is to serve. But we had enough drama for tonight so I told the men we will assault the slavers warehouse 6 o'clock sharp. Now to get some energy and calm our minds. We will see what next day brings. May the Force be with us.

Diary Log: Day 5 - Very early in the morning almost the whole city was asleep. The hope that our enemies are doing the same so we could take them by surprise was with us. Officer assambled the troops and we headed in the the direction of the warehouse. Officer without scouting ahead order the troops to kill the slavers on sight. I was concerned about the hostages. It was a massacre, when the battle started I immediately run towards the hostages to free them and stop the slavers from hurting them. This was something the officer didn't count on. He though he would have my lightsaber at his side to defend him and his troops. But my concern was the hostages. It was foolish just walk right in. The slavers had the cages rigged to overload when alarm is sounded. This resulted in 70% mortality I just couldn't destroy the generators in time to save them. During the battle even though we cough the slavers by surprise our officer was killed and one of the engineers injured. I don't know who would call it a victory but the slavers are all gone with most of the slaves.

Diary Log: Day 5 - Later after the smoke cleared we returned with the hostages to the embassy. The girl who found me Sola I really hoped her parents were those who survived the overload. But only her father survived the accident. When I told her what transpired she was mad at me. I told her I was sorry but there was nothing else I could do in the moment, I just tried to save everyone I could. I hope she will forgive me in time or it will ruin her. I must calm my mind and meditate.

Diary Log: Day 11 - The fleet should be here 4 days ago. I really hope the didn't met the same fate as our military escort. I still have the same vision about The Empire Landing at the docks. I keep going to check if they landed already or not. Sola forgave me on what transpired and she's following me like a shadow even though her father lies in hospital. She can't even visit him in the ICU. He has multiple organs shutdown doctors don't know if he survives his injuries. She comes with me to check on the hanger even though I tell her it might be dangerous, she has great courage. She is living with us on the embassy until her father gets better. We talk about everything, I share my knowledge of The Force with her, it seems to really fascinates her. I think she just needs someone to talk to in her correct situation.

Diary Log: Day 19 - We got news this morning that the fleet was attacked and returned to Core System with only 1 Dreadnought and 2 Cruisers. it was large fleet patrolling Outer Rim. Now it's to 30% of original size. The Cold War is escalating. Skirmishes are more frequent and death tolls are rising. Now it seems the war is inevitable. Let's just hope the Diplomats can keep the peace and Treaty of Coruscant alive for longer.

Diary Note: Unfortunately Sola's father did not survive his injuries and she asked me after few days if she could come with us. There is nothing for her on this planet anymore. I said yes but I told her that she must be careful, our path might be perilous still.

Diary Log: Day 21 - My vision is getting more real each day I told the Ambassador to give us ship to leave so they won't find a Jedi youngling on Neutral planet. Even a trade ship will suffice. He said he will do whatever he can.

Diary Log: Day 23 - Yesterday Ambassador told us there will be trade convoy heading to Coruscant. but as it is within the Merchant's guild we must ask the Captain of the ship for a seat on his ship. Me, the surviving men and Sola of course went and visited the Captain Reynolds and ask him for a seat on his ship to core worlds. Well as a true merchant he asked for something in return. We had nothing to offer, but Sola said something that cough his attention. She studied Galactic Economics in local University. And she gave him advice on how to make more money selling his wares not directly in Coruscant but on nearby planets. As her calculations shown it would make 11% more credits selling his wares on planets engaged in ground battles. We were all amazed by Sola, we were all glad she's with us or we wouldn't get far without her. It was a day went well. Until I woke up during my next unnatural real vision. I woke up men and Sola and we headed towards Reynolds's ship to ask him to hide us somewhere on his ship.

Diary Note: We are hidden inside movable wall on Captain's ship and leaving shortly.

Diary Log: Day 24 - After we were were off the ground Captain went to get us. I sensed great darkness even though we weren't on planet anymore. As he got us out I saw him. The Sith that killed my master. He ignited his lightsaber and begun to attack. I parried almost immediately. I told other to stay away and let me handle him as I was his only concern, He hated Jedi I could sense it in him. As we fought I let my guard down just a little and he cut my lightsaber in half leaving me defensless. But due to my focus on using The Force not just my Abilities with lightsaber I was able to dodge his attack and push his lightsaber from striking the killing blow. He was getting tired and that's when I use all my energy to psuh him in to an airlock. The doors closed and Sola sent him flying into the space. I thank her for that as Captain was picking me up. He apologized for bringing the Sith but he threaten to kill him if he don't. I forgave him naturally.

Diary Note: My vision was no longer clouded by the death of my Master. It was some kind of revenge but I was acting in self defense I did not know what else to do. I know I need to finish my training on Tython and find new Master to guide me.

Diary Log: Day 29 - I spent most of my time learning from Sola the knowledge she posses about Galactic economics. It comes natural to me as I am from a long line merchant family. It was nice to talk to someone who lost someone close to them. We shared many ideals and fascinations as well. I offered her to come with me on Tython to inform the Coucnil of what transpired. She agreed, and she said she wants to stay and find herself some work near the Jedi Temple so she can have always me to talk to during my training. I liked the idea we shaken hands as we finally landed on Coruscant.

Diary Log: Day 30 - Squad left us near the spaceport and went to Republic High Command to inform them and be reassigned. We hitched Jedi transport back to Tython. Immediately after we landed we went to inform the Council. They were of course impressed with our efforts and defeating a Sith. And they moved me to youngling quarters and they offered Sola job here in Temple to work on supplying the Temple with everything the Jedi needed.

Diary Log: Day 31 - The year written is 176. I am only 16 years old and already in The Jedi Order. My days are spent on training but I am somehow feeling empty. I feel I need to continue with my family tradition and go to school to learn about economics.

Diary Log: Day 330 - I just found my old Diary ... there isn't much to tell. Sola is visiting me almost daily helping me with studied. We are very close. So it wasn't really a shock that she asked me to leave The Jedi Order to pursue my own dream first and helping others later. I see some wisdom in that. I decided to pack my things and leave with Sola. I informed the council I am leaving to study on my homeworld Dantooine and I will returned once I am fulfilled.

Diary Note: My studies are going well. I was to see my parents as well and Sola is living with us. Life has finally some meaning. Living without using the Force is somehow easy. Well the light side is teaching us to use it as last resort.

Diary Note: 2 years in my studied I don't have much time to spent on keeping my diary. But there is one big note. Sola was accepted into our family. We married this summer. And we taken over my father's shop and ship. Life is good and I got only one year before I finish my studies.

Diary Note: Our son is growing up little Caine. I will run midi-chlorian test on his blood if we all return to the Temple or if Sola and Caine stay here on Dantooine. I have almost finished my studied and soon return to my duty as a Jedi.

Diary Log: Day 1372 - We are all back at the Temple my family lining in given house by the Jedi. Our son Caine has somehow high midi-chlorian count in his blood but those will rise as he grew older. I know he will make a fine Jedi.

Diary Log: Day 1443 - I am glad I'm within these halls again and continuing my training to do my duty as a Jedi. I am once again Member of The Jedi Order.

Diary Log: Day 1640 - The year written is 182. I am taken as Padawan within The Jedi Order to help with my studied I was granted more freedom to study more about the history of The Jedi Order and The Force as well.

Diary Log: Day 1811 - I finally got myself a Jedi Master to teach me The Way of the Force and to properly guide me throughout our history. his name is Master Scalarik newly appointed Jedi Master by the council.

Diary Note: All is good and well with my new Master I admire his knowledge of our History as he is the Order Historian. I think I will soon be ready for my Jedi Trials. He taught me much and I think he likes my approach towards the subject

Diary Log: Day 2253 - Day of celebration it a 120 years since creation of our Order. And I am very proud to be here and witness it and if it wasn't too much my Jedi trials are set to this day.

Diary Log: Day 2254 - Jedi trials are behind me I am officially a Jedi of The Jedi Order. But I knew I still have much to learn and not only that I need to take the responsibility to teach my knowledge to others as well

Diary Note: To keep myself busy during my studies I taken upon myself with Jedi Ozymandiaz to defend the Republic with difficult tasks and those impossible mission that just simple need doing. We still haven't met challenge we can't endure.

Diary Log: Day 2365 - I finished teaching my first class and I think it was a success. Everyone seems to like it and a little cherry we found ourselves a new member to join our ranks as well.

Diary Log: Day 2437 - I am handing this Diary of my past to my Master the Historian to save it somewhere in our annals as well

Diary Note: I will continue later as I can't predict the future so well
