Who can help the fox
« on: April 04, 2007, 10:19 PM »
I got my laptop to meet specs for JA, all passed.

I tried two differnt ISO to install my JA, but when game loads, it just cuts out b4 getting to the menu and gives me Error report from Xfire or windows, doesnt say anything specific.

I dont have physical disk's, never had.

specs:
XP
pleanty HDD space
1.04 Mhz Athlon
512 Ram
DX 9.0c
Video SiS 740
Keep in mind its a lap top

I had a similar problem. Try reinstalling the game, may have just installed it with a bad file. Remember to delete all the JA files before reinstalling.

Daemon tools installed and ran just fine from my roomates computer, but not on my laptop, just a FYI.

Anyone willing to chip in to get me in game sooner?

Get Alcohol, it might work if you mount it with it.

It's an old integrated chipset that wasn't that good(Its older in JK2 from what I have read). From what I read it may not be powerful enough to run the game at all which could be why it just crashes out. Even if it is.. it won't be a pretty site but my advice fork out the $10 for a real CD. http://software.pricegrabber.com/computer-games/m/19957488/search=Jedi%20knight
