Hello ! ,
I was looking for a guild to join that would suit me and I think this is a good place for me ,
However I must warn you that I am new to this game and a real newbie ...
I am also new to role playing (was a virgin before Lytali came) . (That part sounded better in my head... )
I will be able to play daily during the summer , as I am an engineering student I will be less active during the rest of the year and my sessions will be shorter.
I notice that you play JA , I don't but i used to play Jedi knight (loved that you can just walk into people with your lightsaber and kill em no need to wave it just run and point )
and ofcourse KOTOR (was glad to find out those guys made it to the promised land.. ofcourse only to die a horrific death by rakghouls when the serum ran out, but still.. )
other than that I am 21 years old and I am a Computer science major and would be glad to help with any thing related (none of that web design **** though )

Well , I believe one can not play a MMO without a guild, that said I am new to RP (this is my first try) and I am really interested in a
Jedi master - padawan roleplaying experience I searched the forums on swtor , lordcalypho.org and googled as much as i could trying to find a home and I think that the jedi order is a guild I would like.

(Well I wrote this from a third person point of view and also please keep in mind that this is my first try at roleplaying and while this is the bio I have in mind for my character i still deem it a work in progress and would probably modify it later on)

Lytali was marooned on Ryloth as a young boy , his parents were explorers and were exploring Ryloth's Nightlands , where they were attacked by a pack of Gutkurrs they did not survive the encounter and Lytali was left with their friends at the Twi'lek village Nima and Zelada, when his parent's were late the Twi'lek couple grew worried and Zelada decided to go looking for them , however he was unsuccessful as he did not find Lytali's parents nor did he learn of their gruesome fate . Fearing the worst they decided to take care of Lytali as if he was their own , as he did not have any relatives to contact. Years went by and Lytali was growing up , though he was human he felt more Twi'lek , as he slowly began to forget his childhood with his human parents. Culturally he was brought up with Twi'lek tradition and values. His parent's were of the Sivron clan and they gave Lytali their clan name , which angered some of their peers, As they saw the human unfit to bear that name.
Shortly after the treaty of Coruscant was signed , he was discovered by Jedi master Varina Silero as a force sensitive master Silero took Lytali with her to the jedi temple on Tython , where he started his training to become a Jedi , Lytali soon became Silero's padawan, master Silero was a renowned archeologist and historian , Lytali shared his master's love for archeology and belief that in order for the Jedi order and the Republic to prosper again they must understand the past and learn from it.
Silero taught her padawan many things about the force and about the history of Tython , However one lesson Lytali failed to learn was letting go of personal attachments, as he was very attached to the Twi'lek pilgrims on Tython , though his master had told him not to help them too much as the republic claimed their presence on Tython was illegal , Lytali however often went beyond what was accepted and helped the pilgrims with their problems especially their flesh raider problem. Master Silero was concerned that her padawan was unable to let go of his attachment to his Twi'lek parents and saw them in the pilgrims.
Just before it was time for Lytali's trials master Silero decided to take her padawan to Taris , to learn more about Darth Malak's attack and the dark side's true motives behind it. Master Silero was convinced that the action's of Revan and Malak were crucial to the emperor’s plan's.
While exploring the ruins of the Endar Spire, The republic ship that was carrying Revan , the ground under them started to collapse , sensing the danger master Silero use to the force to push her padawan out of harms way but was unable to save herself in time , she fell several meters and was injured in the process , unfortunately she fell directly into a Rakghoul tunnel , the creatures attacked her she tried to fight them off but one of the creatures had infected her with the incurable Rakghoul plague , padawan Lytali tried to assist his master but the part of the ship they were in had weakened , and soon collapsed on master Silero, unable to remove the debris on his own, Lytali quickly went back to the republic outpost to get help.
On his was back Lytali knew it was too late as he felt his master becoming one with the force, However Unwilling to give up he kept searching for his master with the help of a few republic troops , They were unsuccessful as they never found Master Silero or her remains. Lytali was still unwilling to let his master go, the squad commander realized that it was hopeless and that master Silero was lost, unable to convince Lytali that it was too late, he convinced him that it was too dangerous to spend the night deep in Rakghoul territory and went back to the outpost. There he contacted the Jedi counsel on Tython and told them of what had happened, The counsel instructed Lytali to return to the Jedi temple , reluctant at first to give up on his master and confused on what to do he decided it was best for him to go back to the temple and seek the guidance of the counsel. Finally Lytali accepted his master's fate , However the counsel was reluctant to continue his training as they found him too attached to hist master and displayed anger when the garrison commander called off the search, while some blamed his young age and inexperience for his actions others believed he was not fit to become a jedi and would be in danger of falling to the dark side.
Note on Bio :
I think its a little lame for a jedi master to be killed by rakghouls but there was also the collapsing structure ...
dunno might change that part
