The event links to the post. So you can make the event and then put the info for it in the post. Then it will show up on the calendar.

I want to put the calendar at the top of the website, or figure out how to get the news ticker working again.

I want to see if we can get the news ticker going again. I don't know why it doesn't rotate through the different news items (there should be 3).

the thing is calendar is working for annoucements but does it works for sign ups and such ..
if you click on the event it should allow you to sign your self up for the event .. at least ..  does it work tha way ? how can we test it

What browser are you using? Maybe it works on firefox and not chrome or something?

Tested it out on IE and it worked, so it's probably because I'm on Chrome.
