If I was able to use mine I would probably be using one that was created for me some time ago.

I like the hilt due to it resembling the tsuka of a katana.  It's nothing amazing, but I've always liked the Samurai related things which got me into collecting weapons as well.

Anyway because of me not having a screen shot bind the name of it is covered.  The hilt itself is called Hiyoshimaru which according to what I was told means "Bounty of the Sun".  That about sums it up.

Nice work Adan but be careful on the amount of polys and verts you are using there. Also try and fatten it up a bit ;). For a first hilt though, its better than mine was lol.

Ok Master Achilles, ive started work on yours now. I want your opinion on this Emitter i have created.



Ignore the width and so on as it is not to scale yet but i just want to know if that would be ok for your top part of the hilt, where the saber comes out. The bit that is starting to go down is the shaft/hand grip of the hilt and thats what i will start work on soon.

Yeah cause his first hilt is my training saber :P which i like btw.
I'm going to learn how to model sabers soon :D

Ok ive done your hilt Master, tell me what you think. Hope you like it, if not, then well,  :'(. No worries if not though, i can start over, or you can ask for things to be changed if you like the concept.

Its not done yet because i want some personal preferences. Ive tried to make it katar/windu like. It resembles the Katarn hilt with the length and shape, and the windu hilt with the grip and bottem part.

UPDATE:

I'm in the mapping stages, i'm about half way through the mapping now. Its real difficult mapping this because there are so many vertices. I'm worried it wont get into game but i hope it does.

Sorry for the late reply. Looks great Jorka! Now lets see it with some skin. Put some gold in it like Windu's.
