Another day in the Temple
« on: February 21, 2012, 05:05 PM »
''Why hello there my Padawan!'' Master Narretas laughs to his Padawan as he spots him across the hall. As Padawan Tomius walks closer Master Narretas continues ''Have you heard yet?''. Padawan Tomius shrugs, signing he hasn't. ''Not yet, Master. What's wrong?'' As Master Narretas signs his Padawan to follow him, he explains. ''Knight Farore is busy cooking up something. We ought to find out what it is. I hear he's a great cook. Coming from Master Achilles, that's saying a lot.'' Master Narretas completly focussed on his new quest, doesn't notice Padawan Tomius laughing. If he would, he'd probably think his very own Padawan was laughing at him.

Master Narretas starts jumping down the corridors with excitement, with little care to who sees him. He looks back at Padawan Tomius and beckoned to him in mid-air. Padawan Tomius then starts laughing again at his silly Master, but also got curious as to what Knight Kaeawc is cooking up. Maybe they could both have some...'But i'd have to beat the wookie' thought Tomius but he knew that the great, big fur-ball was all bark. Padawan Tomius followed his ludacrous, leaping master, being able to contain his excitement much better.
As they proceeded through the corridors of the temple they ran into a flushed-looking Padawan Elod-Hora...

In the meantime, Padawan Elod-hora was highly concentrated into finding inner peace. All the morning before went wrong: his favorite cup has broken, the queue to the bathroom in his section was insopportable, and there was AGAIN noodles for breakfast... So he walked down the corridor, repeating the Code to himself and trying to regain his peace, when suddenly two figures run onto him bringing him down. A moment later he recognised the intruders. "Oh, it's you, Tom... Oh, Master Narretas, hello..." Padawan Elod-hora tried to get up fast to make the bow as it should. It went somewhat strange-looking. Strange enough, he didn't notice any sign of disapproval on master's face. In fact, he was loughing out loud.

Once Padawan Elod had recovered, Master Narretas pointed to him, finger stretched right in his face. Padawan Elod thought this was quite rude but did not say anything out of respect. However, Padawan Tomius knew that this was his master's special way of greeting people.

'Have you heard the knews?' questioned Master Narretas.

'The news?' said Padawan Elod with a look of confusion on his face.

'Yes, the news' confirmed Master Narretas. 'We are on an important quest, Padawan Faria. We need to find out what Knight Farore is cooking up. Do you want to join us?'

'Oh yes please!' smiled Padawan Elod with much exictement.

So the three of them continued their quest to through the temple. Master Narretas jumping crazily infront, the two padawan speed-walking behind to keep up with the loony master. Whilst in the middle of his energetic jumping, Master Narretas pondered as to why Padawan Elod had looked so upset. He, for one, had a great morning. He was served a lovely fried breakfast, washed the wookie in one of the padawan bathrooms and had played cup throwing, with Master Kor'keel, using some padawans cup.

Hermesean hated bugs, ahem he means he has no hate just they attacked him first. He was on the hunt, a beetle lay, half asleep, on the ledge in front of him. Hermesean inched closer. Closer. The beetles purple, segmented antenna twitched.....
A flash of sunlight poured onto the window ledge and the beetle bathed in its golden warmth. That golden glow had an unearthly quality to it, so the beetle looked up as a yellow lightsaber swung down to meet it......
Hermesean was knocked of his feet by a flash of robes and lekku as Master Narretas and the padawans raced past him. Hermesean jumped up and dashed back to the window ledge......
The beetle hovered in mid-air, staring at its would be attacker. It winked and lazily drifted off into the air, accompanied by a very unjedi-like string of curses.....
Hermesean turned to look back down the corridor at the group of running Jedi, "Come back, here now, come look what you've done, we'll be swarmed by them next!" screamed Hermesean as he raced off after the trio.

Rikochet had just gone back inside after meditating on a balcony and started to yawn when a flying beetle thought it be a good idea to fly down his throat. The beetle was rather big and Rikochet started choking on it. He was grasping for air stumbling across the hallway, around a corner and BLAM, someone had crashed into him, setting the beetle free from his throat.

A yellow lightsaber flashed and slashed the groggy beetle. "Got you at last!" Screamed Hermesean.

A green face grinned at Rikochet as Tomius helped him to his feet.

"Whats going on??" Rikochet said, as the group of four contiuned to race off.

"Follow and you will see!"

Master Narretas smiled back as he looked at his little 'minions' following him.
They continued to run exitedly towards the kitchen when Tomius stopped quickly. He saw a coffee machine at the side of the corridor...but so did Master Narretas. His master ran over to the machine and poured himself a coffee...he raised it to his mouth.
Everything for Tomius went in slow motion. He screamed "Nooooooooooo!" as he sprinted at his Master. He saw the cup start to tilt and the hot liquid sliding out of it. Tomius stretched out his hand to knock the coffee on the floor...
Just as he got near to Master Narretas, Hopeful hermesean saw a bug on the floor. He bent over to squash it. Unfortunalty Tomius tripped over Hermesean's outstretched leg and went diving head first into the coffee machine as the hot, caffeine concentrated drink poured down Master Narretas's throat...

And at this precise moment Elod-hora, who understood that things were going wrong, called the Force to help him, and lifted all the coffee in mid-air. Tomius made a sospire of relief. "Well done, Elod, you can't immagine what you've just prevented..." Elod smiled, relaxed... and let all the coffee rain down.

Tomius awkwardly stood up and rubbed his forehead. He had nutted the hardest part of the coffee machine and was singed by the boiling liquid.

They were now all covered in coffee and some master was now licking himself.

The five of them continued down towards the kitchen, Tomius keeping an eye on his master, Hermesean slaughtering bugs, Elod-hora reciting the code, Rikochet staying out the way to avoid being knocked over and Master Narretas being Master Narretas as usual.
When they arrived they found...

Knight Vargus 2000 years in the future sat quietly in the corner of the cantina sipping a hot tea like substance wondering why the temple was so quiet lately.............

Hopeful Hermesean started banging his weak shoulders against the locked door to try open it... But his pityful efforts were wasted. It seemed Knight Kaeawc had decided to go for a short stroll and didn't trust anyone to leave his mystery creation alone. Hence the locked door.
As they all backed away from the door, disappointed and annoyed that they all have to wait, Hopeful Hermesean heard... (( :P ))

.... Tomius begin to sob as he chipped a nail. However through meditation and concentration Elod-hora spotted a hooded figure, in the robes of Knight Kaeawc, at the end of the corridor.
