"Awaiting Gamestate" Yeah right

Today when I was going to enter the server, the "Awaiting" stuff came up, but it stopped on "Awaiting Gamestate". It doesn't really freeze, since I can press Esc and go back to the main menu, but it just won't load. And if that doesn't happen, it awaits challenge for a good while. SOMETIMES I can enter the server, but then it just lags instead.
What should I do?

Um... I remember I once had this issue, I think it might be connection related?

When that happends, pop up the console en recon till it works. lol.
