Greetings and welcome to the communications holonet of the Jedi Order! Thank you for your interest in our Order.

This board contains our code and other rules which define the Jedi Order.

If you wish to join us, please include the following information in your application:

1. Full in-game name (of your main character):

2. Class and Advanced Class (if any):

3. Why you wish to join the Jedi Order:

4. Time Zone:

5. Roleplaying biography of your character:

Rules for rp bio:
First of all, we want to create our own roleplaying experiences, so don't include things from TOR storyline. It wouldn't be much of a roleplay, if we had many people with the same background just because they are of the same class.

Keep in mind that when applying you are a Hopeful, a recruit of the Jedi Order. That means you are not a Jedi Knight, not even a Padawan yet, so make sure to not state otherwise in your rp bio!

Once you have posted your application, it will be considered by the Recruiting Team and submitted to the Council for approval. Please be patient as we consider your application. Signs of impatience will only delay the process.

Additionally, please refrain from posting in applications other than your own. Only Recruiting Team members, Councillors, and the applicant may post in applications.

Please be active in the forum and in-game! We can't admit you without knowing you!

Good luck and may the Force be with you!

Remember you are just beginning your journey in the Jedi Order, as a Hopeful. You should consider this when writing your biography, i. e. you can't be a Jedi Knight or a Master yet.

The following are the examples of good short bios. Your personal bios might be shorter or longer than that, but they must be elaborated enough to show your commitment.

Asheron - The Beginner
Asheron Levistrone - Life Story, so far...

Journal Entry - 1.
Part 1:

*Open Transmission*
Hello, I am Asheron Levistrone. I am writing this Journal so that I may look on past experiences and teach them to students that wish to learn the same capacity. To start off, vague discriptions of myself will be excluded for readers.

Name: Asheron Levistrone
Age: 5
Gender: Male
Species: Zabrak
Home Planet: Iridonia

Status: Civilian
Unique powers: Ability to Learn
Location: Iridonia

And now, my life, so far:
*End Transmission*

Far away, on the land of Iridonia , a strange mysterious ship from the dark sky fell upon the planet. Falling at an increasing speed, anything in its pathe leads to sheer destruction. A few Iridonian's just happened to be near the crash site of the, what appears to be, an escape pod. The Iridonians, surprised and scared, heard the cries of something within the pod. What was it?
As the Iridonian's stood, watching, as the pod's door opened slowly, they saw a baby. A small, vey fragile baby with slick white hair, sat there with watery eyes staring, straight into the crowd of these tall figures. The baby wore a necklace; a necklace with the babies name on it. Inscribed on this necklace on, what seems to be, a white sapphire, was the letters "Asheron Levistrone". That is what the Iridonian's called this young child; Asheron. Unaware of how Asheron arrived to the planet, the friendly Iridonian's took him in as one of their own.
Over the years, Asheron grew up to learn the culture of the Iridonian's. To speak their language, to build their ships, to help them as they helped him. Though as one of them, Asheron had his differences between him and the other children. Asheron was always being picked on about being small and growing up with the other children.

*Open Transmission*
My Current status is the same as before. As you can see, I am a Zabrak I have little to no information of where I came from, how a Zabrak landed on Iridonia, (which happens to be the home planet of the Zabrak species) why I landed here, or how I came to be. Let me continue the story, and perhaps we may find out this information.
*End Transmission*

Asheron, now age of 5, a time of which he learns to be, now trains with his adopted Father, who has been his personal teacher for the past years. His father has taught Asheron the ways of being in peace, to put aside the angry words of the other children and receive comfort for himself. Asheron's father was a very wise and old Iridonia. He has more knowledge than any of the Iridonian on the planet. His name was Thorsten. He stood at an abundant 6' 9", long brown hair, and black eyes. Asheron's mother, Elyssia, stood at 6' 5" with black hair and black eyes.
Asheron's adopted parents never believed in reproduction, so Asheron was left without a brother or sister. Aside this, Asheron never minded.

*Open Transmission*
*static* ....hmm... It seems as if I have a teacher for a father. His wise words see to be most helpful to myself and others. Lets continue!
*End Transmission*

Now Asheron was at the Age of 7, out in the Plains (Thorsten has instructed Asheron to live in the wild, to understand the spirit of the Earth, and to learn to survive on his own) came upon a stream surrounded by strange animals. Asheron was never taught the animal species, or any other alien species for it was forbidden by the Iridonian law, so he did not know what these creatures were.
Closely, Asheron leaped behind some bushes and studied these strange creature's. There were 5 of them, standing about 4' tall and had long legs, and bald. Unaware of the 6th one behind him eating the grass, he slowly backed up into it. Asheron fell back into the open of all 6 of the beasts, suddenly being attacked by the beasts. Asheron, in a panic, stood up and tried running but he fell down. BUT, this time he swung around as if to katch hold of one of the beasts, but hit the ground. Once Asheron hit the ground, he was scared stiff at this time. His eyes were closed at the time, and he heard the scramble of the beasts fleaing. A few seconds later, he opened his eyes and to his surprise...they were gone. How did they go? What scared them?
Asheron was never fully understanding of that incident, so he put it aside and carried on with his business.

*Open Transmission*
Wow, close one, huh? I have later found out these creatures are called La'Atra's, meaning giant bore. They are a very friendly bunch, BUT do not get to one of their younglings or heard. They 'will' attack you. But other than that, they're very playful; just dont touch.
*End Transmission*

Aside from that, to get the story straight on the strange critters, lets talk. My life, as has been for the past years, is to study my environment. The Earth compasses a natural spirit, spirit in which, I believe, can strengthen your Life through...what is called 'Meditation'. My Father taught me to derive this skill, for it brings much enjoyment and a better resistance.

Much time has passed since my last Status update. Let me get that for you....

Name: Asheron Levistrone
Age: 5
Gender: Male
Species: Zabrak
Home Planet: Iridonia

Status: Civilian
Class: Student
Unique powers: Ability to Learn, Meditation
Location: Iridonia

My Status is improving, it would seem. I have now went from my special abilities to learning how to Meditate. I've recently found out what this means. Meditation - continuous and profound contemplation or musing on a subject or series of subjects of a deep or abstruse nature; "The habit of meditation is the basis for all real knowledge." I will soon, I hope, mastter Meditation enough to reach my mental state of being mentally fit. Come, we shall continue.

Now, at the Age of 8, Asheron was fully understanding his surroundings to his teachings. He was roaming the plains of Iridonian, minding his own business. Asheron was out in the plains for spiritual consent. At this age of his life he was wondering what his purpose was. The night before, Asheron's father told him of how he came to the planet. How he came to be, what he was wearing. He did not choose to believe it, so he ran out of their little hut.
Asheron, grasping his sapphire necklace that bared his name, suddenly saw a flash of light from the sky. He saw, to his surprise, a ship crashing down to Iridonia.
The ship was smoking, not on fire, but smoking. Asheron closely came closer to the ship, and the door swayed open. Out stepped a tall man, dressed in a brown robe and standing proud, tall, as though he were someone of importance.
The man spoke, "Hello there." I was speechless. He spoke again, "I am Kinray"
"I am Asheron", I said. "Are you a Human?
"Yes, yes I am.", said Kinray.
"Are you hungry?", I said.
"Why, thank you. A little hungry, yes." said Kinray.
"Come, I have food and water." So I took him to my little camp, the one I built so I can come out here and be alone when I come for lessons of my own, which lay on the outskirts of Krinoia, the settlement on the outskirts of the capital on Iridonia of which I lived. I watched as Kinray ate, and drank. I noticed his weapon he was hiding under his cape.

*Open Transmission*
.....Wow......... 2 miraculous things have happened. One of which I dont think I can take, and another.... Anyway, to get a wrap up, Aye, I've found out my real parents aren't who they say to be. I am....adopted. Aye, I still love them so, but....I dunno.
*End Transmission*

I've met a new face around these parts. We do not get very many strangers, so I must treat him like royalty. Come, lets get to know him better.
We both sat there, talking. Then, without notice, I said "Do you hurt people with that?" as I pointed to his weapon.
The man chuckled, as he swallowed the food he had in his mouth. "Only if need be.", as he said giving me a weird aww look. "It's as though you've never seen a weapon before."
"No, we're a peaceful planet. We rely only on our spirit's and mind."
The man, finishing his food and drink, stood up. "Come with me a second, would you?"
I stood up and followed him out. We wen't to the stream and did some tests I had, one of which I balanced myself.
Out of nowhere, he stuck my finger. I had never seen blood before. He called it 'drawing blood'.
"You'll be alright. Do you have guardian's?" he said.
"Yes, they are at home. I came out here to study my surroundings." I took him to see my guardians. They talked for a long while as I went outside and played with some local friends.
Kinray came out with my parents and my mother was crying. "Come here please, Asheron?" So I did. "Asheron, your not a normal Zabrak. I am what you call a Jedi. A Jedi is a protector of peace."
I paused for a moment, "So what are you saying? I am a Jedi?" I laughed to the thought of it.
Jeria noticed the necklace on my neck. "May I see that?", he said. I handed him the necklace, and he took it and placed it in my palm, pulling up and twisting the sides of it. "It is a Holocron Jewel, which was very rare to find, especially in Sapphire form." The Holocron displayed a battle between a Jedi and someone else. He stared at it for a short moment, then said, "You see the guy with the red glowing element? It is called a Light Saber, and the guy holding it is called a Dark Jedi." Kinray released his own Lightsaber, and picked up a stick. He slowly dragged it over, and I saw the stick be broken in a perfect cut.
Just as he said that, the Holocron turned to a beautiful blonde headed woman holding a baby. The woman said "Asheron, if you get this message, I want to tell you I am sorry for not helping you anymore than what I have. *explosion's* Asheron, I love you!" and the woman ended the transmission.
"I am sorry, Asheron. She did help you as much as she admitted. She saved your life, and thats priceless." said Kinray.
I stood there for a moment, in silence with my eyes closed. "....So what do you want with me?"
"Do you remember the tests? Those tests were to conclude if you were Jedi mateiral. Your very own tests proved your worth to a Jedi Master one day. I sensed your Jedi intellect, and I wanted to be certain. Do you accept to become a Jedi? Protector of what your planets purpose is?"
"I-I...". I looked towards my adopted Parents. They nodded. Speechless, very amazed, turning back to Kinray, I said, "I accept."
So the beginning of my new life was to begin that very afternoon, as the parts for his ship were safely repaired in his ship. I said my good-byes, gave my Father and Mother one last hug, and I left with Kinray.

*Open Transmission*
Well, I've found out who my real Mother is. Also about the strange figure; Kinray. He's a Jedi!! I've heard myths about these people, but I've never actually seen one. He has come to a decision that he wants ME, of all else, me, to become a Jedi at his Academy. This may be the last Transmission I will send. I do not know what will become of me, but remember, have Peace, not hate, and you will pass through the ages with much gratitude. Lets continue the story anyway.
*End Transmission*

On the way, I asked many questions. "Where are we going?", "Will there be any Jedi there my age?", "How do I know if I will get accepted?" Kinray, with his patience, graciously answered them; he had high tolerance for me.
As the long journey took place, I watched my Holocron once more, and saw how beautiful my Mother was. I noticed something, just before the transmission ended. The Jedi, as I saw before but was distracted from him by my Mother, was slain by the Dark Jedi. The Dark Jedi had killed him using some sort of electricity from his hands. I showed it to Jeria, and he said that was one of the Sith powers. He also told me the story of how Jedi were turned to the Darkside of the force, which became Dark Jedi.
Finally, as I looked out the shuttle and saw a very big Temple, with lots of Jedi with their lightsaber's and their training, we had arrived. We landed in the Shuttle bay. I got off with my 2 bags full of my clothes and other resources. Jeria turned and looked at me and said, "Well....here we are. This will now be your home for quite awhile." He pointed to the doors. "Go in there, and you'll see a service desk. Talk with the android there, give him your name and mine." He handed me a disk. "Give him this, also. After this, he'll tell you what to do."
I looked up at him, nodded, and he started to walk to his ship. I ran after him with one last time, giving him a hug good-bye and he looked down at me. "Never give into emotions, Asheron. I have faith in you. You will do well." He went into his ship, and came back out with a box. I didn't know what it was. "Do not open this until you think the time is right. It will not be anytime soon, so you can store it until you feal the time is ready." He got on his ship, waved at me through the cockpit and he left.
I turned around, looked around, then walked forward to the Hanger bay doors, unaware of what my future holds in store for me. I looked back behind me, one last time, then turned around, and walked through the doors.....

Quote from: Adam Xemo
(Third person narrative voice)
  Human: Adan Xemo
     Age: 6 standard Gyrs’
     Height: 3'7"
    Born: 244
Adan Xemo was flown to Coruscant with a Traveler from tatooine a merchant/ Smuggler on business since his parents were slaves they couldn’t afford to pay a ticket for just one of them to go plus it is easier to sneak a child out of slavery than it is all three family members without fear of punishment or death.
The reason for fleeing Tatooine was because young Adan was showing skills of unnatural ability, having unseen details of occurring events, his parents recall an event recalled from the datapad (one of the rare nice belongings that Adans parents acquired by either gathering off of a drunks table or repairing a busted datapad.) “Was when Adan was playing with some friends, and one of his friends got mad after he won a game of hand slap (a primitive game yet having high-reflexes allowed Adan to win) as Adan was walking away his friend in anger threw a shattered piece of a power coupling laying on the ground next to a speeder, a normal boy would have been seriously injured, but at age 6 Adan picked up a light Dura-steel pipe and smacked the piece away with amazing reflexes, and even more insight, not even realizing what he did himself, he dropped the pipe and ran to us.” (us being his parents)
This amongst other events Adan’s parents Heard of the Jedi Order forming on Coruscant, they thought if he is truly  has potential of being a Jedi it is a much better life than to be enslaved for the rest of his life wanting something better Aerex Xemo, and Ibis Xemo started to try and materialize someone to help them.
Upon reaching Coruscant, Adan was exactly 6 galactic years, he remembers his parents telling him "if this person tries to hurt you, or does not take you to the Jedi temple find the Coruscant police and have them take you to the Temple of the Jedi."
Being bright for his age Adan's parents Aerex Xemo, and Ibis Xemo trusted him with their words of advice. They met the merchant dealing with their master; an old Smuggler they recognized him as Booster Gerek a Correlian Smuggler much like the infamous Han Solo, playing on the Correlian spirit Aerex, and Ibis told the smuggler about their child. Booster not liking the idea of anyone in captivity he offered to help. Aerex, and Ibis pay the smuggler after Booster accepted the task he thought it to be trouble since they were slaves’ to a Hutt and not just any old Hutt but a Hutt named by Kossak (after the legendary Hutt) a vicious ruthless Hutt so he acted to take no interest in the boy and put on the façade of (the all to familiar innocent look still recreated in Holo-dramas of actors portraying Han), a typical smuggler attitude and also wanting to keep the Hutt apart of his profitable business he did not need to cross such notoriously bad natured creatures.
The traveler held up his end of the deal not partaking in conversation or interest in the kid, just telling the Jedi Padawan on duty at the temple that his parents paid him to deliver this youngling. Watching the dispute between the padawan  and Booster I thought to myself (that this is it, then seeing a grand being come through an archway feeling a tickle in the back of my head as he approached), the padawan turned and looked at the Jedi master, and then nodded to Booster. I thought about my family, my mother, and my father with sharp rough features, and my mother as elegant as a Kaminoan in movement, or so my father said. (Before Booster left me at the temple he told me that my parents loved me very much.) This is where my start began.

Time and date. unknown. Nearby Zabraks rush to bring in the water and food from the fields. All day that day was in fast pace, due to the snow storm entering from the south and the new born entering the world. The vast coldness of the planet crept threw the cracks of the walls like darkness creeps up from the night. Cries of a mother in labor could be heard through the howling wind. Just as the last of the male Zabraks brought back the last barrol of food, the storm hit. Now, the attention wasn't the storm itself. There had always been a large storm battering the walls of the citadel and there will always be. The main view  point's was the mother, who had been in labor all that day. The nurse  who was present made sure the pregnant woman was as comfortable as possible. Patting the woman's sweaty head with a silky towel, holding her hand, that sort of stuff. Minutes passed, as well as hours. Labor seemed worse than dieing with the endless pain. The lights flickered through the night, soon ending with darkness. All the community stayed in one place to escape the destruction of the snow storm, listening to the howling winds and moans of a woman. The darkness soon became light with the townsfolk lighting candles and sticks lighting. Soon after the candles were lit, the sounds of the newly mother had ended, and new cries of life had begun. A newly born kep (child) had entered the world of the living. Unfortunately, with life being created... so shall it be taken. The mother had died with complications during labor just soon after the kep was born. With the storm still had hand, no one had time to weep for the woman. All attention was to the windows. Ceiling them, blockading the doors to keep the snow from entering. The other women and children had began to cry, making it more noisy with the wind, the infant and all the people.

Hours had passed and the storm had little signs of slowing up. The villagers managed to get the children and women to ease down. They were taken down to the basement to eat and rest. The baby was taken to a room with many devices. All these gadgets and robots washing the infant down, sticking things in his face. Almost enough to seem like a man being taunted while tied to a post. The only remaining people upstairs were the local soldiers and male elders. They still had work to do.

An hour later, knocks had been heard on the outside of shelter. The elder Zabraks were were startled as they thought they had everyone downstairs and in the shelter. The bolts of the door started to shake, the wood creaked and the shackling of chains on wood broke the wind's howling. Out of the doorway, wood began to break away. The metal of the door began to bend. The roar of a beast began very clear of what was happening. There had been rumors of a local gang attacking villages for salvaging purposes and their desire for greed. The group also carried mighty beasts of white fur and sharp claws. Once through the door, the Zabrak's had metal spikes and blasters to hold them back, but it was no use. A sudden surprise of 3 wampa's with ropes around their necks and mouths had caught them off guard. White robed humanoids were riding their backs and charging at the line of Zabraks, and a battle broke way. Vibrations of blasters missing, bodies falling, and roaring wampa's could be heard from the basement of the shelter. The women and children began to cry and moan once more, before the doors had broken up and the arms of the wampa's began to swing, and the blood of the innocent began to flood the floor...

The attackers had began to salvage the remains of the fallen Zabraks and place the kep in cages. Their only intention was to kill the edar's (adults) and turn the kep's into slaves.  Once all of the kep's were tied and robed to survive the storm, they began to exit the citadel. The group of invaders left the scene very fast with the remaining kep leaving the door open. The storm was still going strong, blowing in snow and cold air. The decapitated bodies had began to freeze, and the stench had began to emerge. But in the piled corpses, movement began to move the corpses. One of the Zabrak edar's stood up holding his left arm in pain and breathing deeply. He dropped to his knees and let out a loud yell. After he had yelled, a cry had been let out. He heard this cry and began to search. He pushed the corpses out of his way, drawing closer and closer. Inch by inch, he became more optimistic about finding what was making the noise. Finally, he had found it. There, lay, a baby in a pool of blood surrounded by the nurses that had been taken care of him. He picked the baby up and placed him in his arms. Placing him in more blankets, he put the baby next to an old heater. He lit a flame, and began searching for food. He found bits and pieces of fruit and began mashing them up. His arm was still bleeding yet he ignored his wounds to take care of the infant. All was calm and quiet when he began feeding him milk. The storm began to die down but the wind was still quite strong. The man had started cleaning up the most and placing the bodies in a shed outside. The whole incident was just blank. The Zabrak society was taught at a very young age to let go of their feelings for others, and work as friends rather than companions. Thus the reason the man had little effect on him.

Finally, after nearly 16 hours, the storm had died off. On the planet of Rhen Var, nearly 120 Zabrak had taken refuge in the storm shelter, and only 2 remained after the attack. The citadel had remained for many years the shelter of the two Zabrak. The young kep, who is now much older, later found out the man's name was Gath Cosh, his wife's name was Ath Cosh; the woman who had given birth. Gath was his father, and the boy was his son. I was taken under him as his pupil. Just as his father had taught him, he taught the boy. 3 years had passed since the incident. His father told him their clan never really knew what actual time it was. Ever since the destruction of Iridonia they had lost track of time, taking the planet of Rhen Var as their new home world. Because of the tremendous atmosphere of Iridonia, the atmosphere on Rhen Var had little affect on the Zabrak race. His father's dream for him had always been to be successful. Gath said the boy had strong powers because of his reactions of the battle at birth; which was little to no effect. So the boy grew older, learning and obtaining more knowledge and facts.

Now 4 more years have passed since the the present time, leaving him at the ripe age of 7. It was an ordinary day for the two, and a transport had arrived at citadel carrying 3 figures. I greeted them and welcomed them to our home. My father wished to speak with two of them, while I began to engage in a conversation with the smallest of the three. I joked about his helmet, calling him awkward and funny shaped. Soon after, my father and the two robed people walked up to me and began speaking to me, asking me questions. I told them the truth and what I had felt on the situation and they just nodded. The two robed figures walked to their ship and began talking. One grabbed a hold of his chin and nodded, then walked onto the ship after glancing back at me. My father had told me of a group of people who protect people like us, and that they are the most honorable people in the entire Galaxy. I had little emotion towards my father as he had instructed me and taught me. So I only saw him as a mentor and only this. Because I could not love him alll I could give were respect, loyalty and trust. Each day since the day of my birth I grew stronger. My father always gave me 'missions' to be carried out. It was almost as if I were being trained for combat or certain scenarios. The day that ship had landed on our planet, I was given one final mission from my father and then boarded the ship, to leave Rhen Var for the first and only time. The two strangers turned out to be Jedi recruiters, and the younger one was a Padawan. I was to be taken to the Jedi Order temple to receive approval from the Council to be trained. It was here-on-out that I would lose connection with my father for ever. Surprisingly, I had always expected something like this would come. The awkwardness of my birth was always a hint.

So, the journey had begun. I boarded their ship, giving my father one last farewell, and I was off. The path was long and dangerous and I wasn't ready. But, in time, I will begin to learn that life can be unexpected and a surprise all on its own...

Quote from: Alexia
Age 6

On his home planet of Sembla Darin Marr woke up early on a bright warm morning, and as normal he went down stairs said hello to his mother as he sat down at the table. Meanwhile Darin Marr’s father Niro Marr, was out gathering food for the family when out of the blue he is approached by an unknown man, who requests to speak to him urgently Niro ignores the man and passes on. Back home, tells him to get ready for the camping trip tonight.. Darin rushes up stairs to have a wash and change of clothes Niro, Darin's father comes through the front door and greets his wife. Telling his wife that he met a strange man that morning while he was out getting supplies, and just at that moment someone knocks at the door three times.

Tanuo says ‘‘I wonder who that could be so early’’. Niro walks towards the door to answer it and to his surprise it’s the man he saw while he was at the market, straight away the man yell’s at Niro ‘’Your son, we must talk about your son’’ said the unknown man. Niro said ‘’Very well come in then, what is it you need to talk to me about’’. Tanuo goes to make some drinks while the stranger pleads to Niro, ‘’Your son is special he has special powers, he must be trained and prepared for what the future holds for him’’ Niro sits down in utter surprise and confusion not knowing what this man means or who he is. Niro asks the man who he is but no reply.

Niro asks the man what does he mean, what has his son done. The man replies ‘’Your son has done nothing, but he has the Force within him’’ Niro replies ‘’Don’t be silly, what are you talking about’’, the stranger explains to Niro what he means. Meanwhile Darin has washed and got into his camping gear ready to go, he walks down stairs and waves at his mother on the way out the door, so excited to be going on a camping trip with all his friends he rushes out the door so quickly forgetting to say goodbye to his father. Darin hurries to his friends Darin yells ''Hey there Jamo, can we go already?'' ''Yes Darin we're going just wait already, you've only just arrived and we still gotta wait for Enioa'' replied Jamo.

Enioa arrives and they leave to begin there camping trip, they arrive at the location and begin to set up camp. While setting up Darin hears sounds coming from somewhere nearby, he ignores them and continues setting up, he hears the same sounds again and decides to take a look into it. He walks towards the area where he can hear the sounds and a little creature hops out at Darin making him nearly jump out of his body he was so surprised by it that he fell backwards onto the floor, his heart racing and his breathing speed increased, the little creature looks at Darin and hops away. As Darin starts to pick his self up he looks to his left and notices a stone floating in the air, Darin puzzled looking at this stone floating on it's own he walks backwards and all of a sudden the stone falls to the floor. He walks back towards the stone and picks it up looking at it very confused and nervous, studying the small stone very closely it starts hovering again over his hands, he moves his hands away and to his surprise the stone is floating yet again seamlessly on it's own. Still focused on this stone he moves his hands slightly to the left and the stone seems to move with his hands, he moves to the right and yet again the stone seems to follow his hands. Darin takes the stone in his hands and rushes back to the site to tell his friends meanwhile..

Back at Darin's home Darin's father Niro is still talking with the strange man he saw at the market place, Tanuo walks into the living room with drinks also food and puts them on the table, Niro still talking with the strange man Tanuo sits down next to her husband and nudges him with a confused face, Niro asks the man what makes him so sure there son is Force Sensitive he replies ‘’Because I can feel it, and now is the time that it be nurtured’’.
Niro replies ''Before I can even consider believing anything you just said or may say, tell me who you are or this discussion is over'', ''My name is Makiasta, I used to be a Jedi Knight many years ago, a few days ago I saw your son in the market place as I went on my daily travails, right away I could sense something within him. I did not approach him in fear of frightening him, I found out that you are his father so decided to come to you about this'' he replied..

Niro asks what should they do about it, Makiasta tells them both the best way for there son is to take him to the Jedi Order’s Council and have them test him and judge him, in order to train him for what the future may hold. Before stepping outside Makiasta turns around to Niro and says, ''Before I go, you must take this and when you arrive at the Jedi Council give this to your son, it will serve him well if he is to pass the tests of time and bond with it.'' Niro takes the strange object and looks at his wife and says ''It's a purple crystal, what could this be''.

Two days and two nights pass and Darin returns home from his camping trip, his mother grabs him and hugs him just before he walked through the doorway. Tanuo asks ‘’How was your drip?’’ ‘’Great, I had such a good time out there, but something really strange happened I made a stone float with my hands’’ Darin replied. His mother looking confused yet not surprised at the same time, remembering hearing what Makiasta told them she starts to believe that her son could indeed be Force Sensitive.

Standing outside Niro heard what his son told Tanuo happened on his trip, realising to that Darin may be in fact what Makiasta explained. Niro walks into the room to greet Darin, he tells Darin that there is somewhere they must go to test something. Darin looks at his father confused, Niro tells his son ‘’It may be nothing, but I’ve got to find out for sure’’ Darin replies ‘’Huh okay’’. The next day Niro and Tanuo take there son to the Jedi Temple, to seek out guidance from the Jedi Council and to find out if there son really is Force Sensitive.

Niro hands Darin the glowing purple crystal and says to his son ''Take this, I'm not sure what it is but I am sure the Jedi Council will know, keep it safe and follow your feelings, no matter what happens remember I and your mother will always love you and we both know your make us proud son''. So Darin Marr walked onward into the Jedi Temple to the Jedi Council's Chambers, holding tight onto the crystal that his father had given to him, unaware of his future or what may happen he hopes for the best.
