Story of Tomius

Part I of the Story of Tomius:

In a galaxy far, far away...

It was a dark time!
The republic was crumbling.
The sith empire growing.
The galaxy in fear.
Even the republic capital, Coruscant, could be at risk.

A young twi'lek opened his eyes late in the evening. A strange sound coming out his window had awoke him.

The boy was called Tomius. His lekku hung beautiful down his back. His blue eyes shone in the darkness. For a 18 year old lad, tomius was intelligent, good build and friendly. However, Tomius did lack something... A family...

All Tomius had known was the orphanage he had grown up in. He knew nothing of his mother or father but his carer had said when they left him here, they were in a rush.

As Tomius had grown up he was different than the other children. He could sense things and sometimes move objects at his will. This power had not gone unnoticed though. A few weeks ago a strange man in a long hooded robe had knocked on the door to speak to Tomius, but the carer denied him entry.

He had heard the other children say something about the Jedi, the guardians and keepers of the peace. But Tomius had only seen the temple.

After being awoken by the strange noise, Tomius turned on the light in his room using his strange power.

Tomius walked to the window and drew the blinds. Tomius almost screamed at what he saw. In the distance he saw Corascant a flame and the sith fleet above.

Tomius ran out the orphanage, terrified of what could happen. He needed a safe place to hide. Thinking, Tomius thought of the best place, the Jedi Temple. It was not too far and he could use the carers speeder.

Driving in the shadows, Tomius sped to the temple. As he saw it in sight his heart dropped. The temple (or what was left) was aflame. Tomius landed on the out skirts and sneaked closer, hoping to find a Jedi for help. As he got Closer he saw what he had dreaded. Jedi, accompanied by sith, were sprawled all over the ruins of the temple.

Tears fell down his face as he gazed upon the aftermath of the battle. Just as Tomius was about to leave, a body near him moved. Tomius lept back and hid behind a fallen pillar. The body spoke, in pain was the voice, but the wisdom and age behind it could not be hidden. The voice asked for Tomius's name. He gave it. The striken body commanded Tomius to come closer. He obeyed.

As he got closer he observed the body. It was a jedi. A wound, which could only have been caused by a lightsaber, was still bleeding. Tomius gazed into the face of the Jedi. An old, tired face stared back. The Jedi pulled Tomius closer.

A whisper filled his ear:
'I know what you are....what you can do....you are needed in the galaxy...you must follow your destiny.
Go to Tython, find the Jedi temple, ask to be trained....your generation is our last hope....'
And with that the Jedi groaned, life departing his body.

Tomius had a choice, do as the Jedi adviced or try survive in the ruins of Coruscant.
Without hesitation Tomius knew the best choice.

He stood up and ran out the ruins. He had to find a transport of some sort.
As he ran Tomius pondered whether the Jedi would accept him and what his destiny might be....

Your welcome.
Just wondering, how did you get those lightsabers under your name?

They're forum rank related, each rank has a lightsaber with a different colour.

Ok thanks... Does that mean I won't be able to have green? I'll just have to have a colour related to rank?

Padawans get light green and Padawan Learners (whom have got a Master) have a dark green. The colour is indeed related to forum rank, which is also the rank you are in-game and on websites.

Ok thanks
Means I'll have to stay as a padawan if I get promoted to keep colors the same lol.
Oh well I suppose blue and green go together ;)

I'm sure by the time your hooked on the game you won't care much to what the colour of the lightsaber is on the forums :P. Just be excited to play the game and progress through the game and guild together. :)

Yeah. I can't wait! The whole idea of how this guild works gets me excited! Can't wait to become padawan and then get assigned to a master as a padawan learner. Also cant wait to roleplay.
Sad thing is I'm going to be so bummed when I go on holiday for 2 weeks after playing for 8 days
