JKA
« on: January 21, 2011, 02:43 PM »
I've reinstalled it last week but still can't get it working, it just freezes and closes on the Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy part. Any help will be great.

Try this, might help (helped me):

1. Go to the GLDirect page on SourceForge. Download gldirect5_opensource.zip.

2. Extract the contents. Go to the gldirect5\bin\release folder.

3. Copy opengl32.dll to your GameData folder.

4. Play the game!!

downloaded from Lucasforums

I had something alike, what about running it with administrator rights?

I recall this error: VM on GL failed

Master Kor solution looks way smarter tho xD

I just don't understand it, because it used to work on this computer. I used to have to run it through admin but when I do it now it still freezes.

It says ...initializing QGL
failed 126
GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem when I copied that file into game data.

The game was set to admin while that error showed, the game doesn't seem to be able to launch with it like this. And yeah I updated the game with the patch.

If you read the thread I posted it should help. If you've updated the drivers at all, that's what the problem is.
