Nice!

I don't have any planned this year, but maybe in September if my bro comes we'll go to Labour of Love which normally has 3-4 big names in it.

Cool! Not that many big acts come around where I live usually. There are more in New Orleans than here in Atlanta though. Especially because they have a couple of music festivals every year so there are usually a lot of shows all around town.

We've seen Buuren, Corsten, Tiesto, Schultz, Dyke, Digweed & Sasha, Slim, Oakenfold, and Deep Dish.

A guy who impressed me in San Francisco was John Beaver, but he won't be on anyone's top 50 best DJ's that I can guarantee...but he was good.

DeadMau5 is Canadian and is ranked in the top 5 in the world!!!!

Nice! I've seen Oakenfold, Bassnectar, Pretty Lights, and Deadmau5, but thats about it. I also saw Shpongle last year, but they're more ambient/trippy stuff. Deadmau5 is amazing. I saw him a few weeks ago in New Orleans.

There is a difference between dance/trance and house music..

But I'll have to admit that Deadmau5 makes some nice edits/bootlegs.

My fav live thus far has been Buuren. I was disapointed with Forsten's set and Tiesto is consistent but he hasn't blown my mind yet.

Digweed was the only one I walked out on and said "bah!"

Sasha and Tiesto were once playing on the same night, and we went to Tiesto (Miri you and your gf came to that one). I almost wished we had gone to Sasha just to have more room (Tiesto's was PACKED) but it was still good.

Tiesto is being gay. If he just sticks to his trance music, he would still be worth "listening" to. But he is acting like Mr. Popular and going after David Guetta.

He should just stick to what he does "best".

Guetta and Benassi are BOMB!!

I hope I can get to hear them live one day.

Tiesto isn't being "gay", he's being Tiesto.

You are right, Pop Music...despite selling like millions of records wasn't that impressive.
Neither is his new CD which is DA BOMB.

"all the crazy shyte I did tonight...those will be the best memories..."
Listen to Memories, Track #4...its friking awesome.

Stupid Dutch DJ's...can't get their head our of their arse long enough to enjoy other music.

I didn't say I don't enjoy his music. But what he makes isn't that impressive. The reason for his succes is that he works which known artists. That is why the "normal" crowd enjoys his top40 music. But true houselovers have other big names on their mind, other than Guetta.

This has nothing to do with stupid Ducth DJs, this is simply a fact. HipHop lovers can't stand 50 cent. People who don't understand HipHop music, love 50 cent. When you get deeper in a music style, you learn the appreciate the true artists, not the amount of hits they get on youtube or the amount of money they earn.

I'll look those guys up.

Do you like Boys Noize? I've been listening to him some recently. I've also been listening to this French guy named SebastiAn. I think his music is really cool.

Boys Noize is pure electro. If you are into that, and not so much into house like me, you might also like Justice.
