I very much doubt he did such a thing. It is not uncommon for kids to try to use "suicide" as an empty threat to get their way. Heck, its the oldest trick in the book that men use to keep women who are considering leaving them. Men will say "I can't live without you, if you leave, I don't know what I will do, but I won't live without you". This keeps them around for a bit until they realize, every guy does it and its always BS. There may be the one or two you hear about that actually do it, but the majority are full of hot air.
In this case, Ash would strike me as the kind to want to belong to something, be a part of something and would use it as a threat. He was, even if odd, too smart to do something that stupid. I don't believe he would have done it and unless the C's saw it, I wouldn't worry about it.

I would have done it. Hell, even if a kid online lied to me about his parents giving him a beating, I would have called. We talk about being there for eachother and so on, well when it counts, thats when we need to put our money where our mouth is.
