oh u guise.

but seriously, USA is going to beat England 3-1. Book it.

I don't think so.
Look it, I am not a big England supporter (don't like Rooney...sorry, I just think he's a moron) so I don't exactly want them to do well, but the US is not going to beat them 3-1.

I could believe a 1-0, but you are not scoring 3 on them.

Menelaos

Why not? Terry's confidence (and likely form) is gone after all the trouble he's caused, Bridge won't even play for the team, Ashley Cole might not even be match fit, so you're left with relying on Glen Johnson (as a Liverpool fan I'll just say LOL), Neville (who is oldddd), Ferdinand, and Cahill. The US might not be able to contain Rooney, but I seriously doubt England can contain anybody.

Terry's proven since that his confidence on the pitch remains unteetered. Anyway, it takes a real selfconfident d-bag to do what he did anyway.

And the USA winning against England will happen the same year the earth turns inside out.

I'm sure that's what Spain fans thought in the CONFAD Cup too ;)

Alright, well now that Ballack is out, I am hoping Germany will move over Bastian into the middle (like Bayern did) and then give someone else the outside.

Great loss for Germany, but Bastian has played so well there, that this might be the chance for a younger player to step up.

Ballack has been slow in the EPL this year and has not looked up to par, however he did alwais rise to the occasion during the big tournaments.

Germany should still be feared, they reached the final in the Euro and for some stupid reason people keep forgetting they have reached the final 5 times and won 3 times.

All I know is that England will lose in the quarter finals and the whole country will be miserable for a week. I don't want to be in the pub when that happens.

clearly <country here> is going to win

that being said, it's not really that I don't care about soccer (OR FOOTBALL AS IT'S REALLY CALLED), I just know like nothing about any teams or have a chance to watch/keep track of it

also I'm posting in your topics, ruining them all

@ Rink - LOL, I'd love to be at the pubs to see it  ;)

@ JC - LOL

@ Mert - You are right, in spanish it is futbol.

I know that in the US (and only in the US) soccer is not as big as it is in the rest of the World, but the better your team gets, the more you will like it.

Might want to, its the most followed/played/writen about/talked about/watched sport in the world.

Pretty sure there is a reason for the above...

ok I made my predictions

DETROIT LIONS ARE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL

on a REALISTIC (and on-topic) note, I dunno, if I remember I'll watch the England and USA game, and maybe whatever else is on. Maybe I should ask my dad, he doesn't follow any team, but he'll watch soccer when it's on.
