St. Patrick's Day

So the gf is Irish-Canadian so I have taken the day off and we will be at a pub starting at 11am and will drink until we can't drink anymore.

Sure, we'll eat now and then for the sake of being able to drink more, but lets be honest, I will be there for the beer.

On a related topic, anyone ever drink Strongbow? At first I thought it would be another girlie drink being a cider and all, but its a welcome break from beer all the time and sure enough it doesn't make the stomach feel bloated.

Also, the hangover (not that I know anything about this, I was told!!) is almost non-existant with this stuff.

For anyone who ever tried beer and said "bah!" try this, its a compromise between the faggety coolers and a beer.

Ya dont have none of that stuff up here to find. Hard to find a good bar/pub with specials and stuff most people just drink the usual and beer around here. Cream ale from guinness is pretty good, Jello shots are alright and yager bombers. Have fun Master mene drink one for me... i dont go to bars/pubs often, not a social person.

Didn't like Mageners as much Alpha, but they are both cidars.

Veni you better believe I will have one for you brotha!!

Mert, I don't like paying $5 either, but at the beer store each Strongbow is about $3. At the bar they will be around $7-8 but you have to go to a pub on St. Pats!!

not bad around here, sometime 50-75 cent draft beers.. not to bad go and spend 15 bucks or something. Just not worth it to me.. too many people.

19.99 for a 24 pack of budlight bottle not bad.


20 bucks for a nice bottle of american honey ;)

Each to their own then! I went through a phase of really liking it, until I ended up getting bored of it and it tasting (to me) like borderline piss.

I tried this drink once at an expensive bar in Birmingham on Broad Street (forget name), "Winter Cider".. Now THAT is good cider!

I think thats exactly the case with me, I am going through that phase of liking something different.
