Mashups?

Ok so I'm a big fan of remix's/mashups, so I figured I'd attempt to make one.  I'm planning on doing one of Kelly Clarkson's "My Life Would Suck Without You" and Katy Perry's "Waking Up in Vegas"; a slight pitch change on Vegas in audacity and they are the perfect tone.

I plan on using original voice tracks, I found an acapella of Perry and am still looking for one of Kelly.  Any remixing tips?  I will be using Acoustia Mixcraft.

No clue how to help you bud, while I would love to be able to even attempt stuff like that, I neither have the programs nor the know how to do them.

Having said that, i'll take a copy when your done ;)
I don't like Kelly Clarkson (actually hate her) but an original mix is always good to have.

Just make sure beats match. Also, completely lose yourself in the music and try and accomplish something beyond what you think you're capable of.

I suppose that's all kinda useless advice though!
