Xfire is being a pain in the butt
« on: July 24, 2008, 03:47 AM »
Allright, yesterday or something, xfire restarted after auto installing an update. Now, when it finished, I had to retype my username and password (which I never had to do before, even after an update) plus the skin had changed back to default.
After I logged in, I also had to uncheck the "track kills/deaths" thing, and I also had to re-block a couple of morons AND re-set the language.
And the following times I start xfire up it starts all over again. If it's gonna continue like this I'm going crazy.

Help?

KLOL ID SAY REINSTALL IT OTHER THAN THAT  YOURE IN TROUBLE LOL

But seriously,  I have no idea, have you noticed anything un-usual in the menu's? I guess re-installing should solve the problem, it worked for me when my Xfire gave all kinds of errors ( wouldn't let me play a game ).

Yeah, try re-installing it... deleting the folder it was installed in... run a registry cleaner... and then re-install it.

Nothing except for everything being set back to default like if I have never been logged in before.

And thanks guys, I'll try re-installing. But Master Pann, what's a registry cleaner? *confused* lol

EDIT:: Ok, reinstalled. Now it remembers the xfire skin I use :D But nothing else. >_>
