Xu'an Hån was born on the planet of Rattatak to his Father Tian and his Mother Nur. His family lived a quite life. His father worked on a farm and his mother worked in their house. At the age of four, his mother gave birth to a second child, Hani. Xu'an took very good care of his sister while his mother took care of house hold duties.
Tian was a powerful self-taught force user who was never actually trained by either the Jedi nor the Sith. As far as Xu'an and Tian could trace back, the males in their side of the family has always been force sensitive.
The Hån family lived ina quite town, so nothing interesting every really happend there. When Xu'an was nine, Tian discovered that Xu'an was force sensitive. He began to train his son to do basic force skills. When Xu'an was eleven, he started to undergo the process to join the Jedi Order. A little after his twelfth birthday, he was accepted. Before he left to join the Order, his father gave him him a necklace that had been passed down for generations- a little red crystal on a chain. Xu'an spent some months as a Padawan, but he was soon taken on as a apprentice by Knight Jorka Sho'hen.
