Debate-Accumulative Wealth of America?
« on: October 07, 2007, 04:51 AM »
It seemed like yesterday when the US had a deficit of around 2 billion dollars or something.

Current debt: approx. $9 trillion

US Feds say $6 trillion three months ago.

What are your thoughts on this? You can find the deficit chart nearly anywhere. There is a clear sign as to when the national debt raised: when Bush Sr. was in charge, and currently now in George Bush's reign. Now, I'm not really pointing finger at him or anything, but the number certainly tell a tale, even if you put the population rise and inflation.

Thoughts?

what is the point of this? Sure both Bush's spend more then we make. Theres nothing we can really do about it until hes out of office.

-.- It is a debate, so the point serves to be discussed.

:/  Surely you can have more of an open mind and start blaming people, sigh.  I have a feeling that debates aren't going to be fun here.

I see no problem with doing a debate and this section is called ''Discussion about other stuff'' So it doesen't necessarily needs to be a game discussion section. Could be real life, could be anything really.
Of course though, not breaking the rules of the forums.

I realy do not think that 9 trillion is that much for a country, you gotta consider the rate of inflation, I remember when gas was less then $1 per gallon, and look at it now.

I guess the real question is, has the price of the dollar gone up since you saw gas for a dollar?

I think I should say only one thing  The Euro has risen 11% in compare with the US $
And it's like this .
1 US $ = 0,72 Euros

also don't forget to add the amount of mony that just dissapeared in some ppl's pockets.
