But either way, i'm just swinging by to say "Hi".
I've been reconnecting with some old friends, and couldn't stop myself from coming back to the very thing that started it all for me!

I've been good these days. Moved to the Outback, so I'm currently 40mi from the nearest sealed road, and 80mi from the nearest town.

Absolutely love it.

Haven't photoshopped for some time, unfortunately - however I am looking at getting CS6 in a month or so, in addition to a new iMac. (Yes, i went Mac, sue me). But once i've got it going - probably do some sigs for you kids ;)

Its pretty cool out here.. minus the fact that 80% of the wildlife can either kill you or put you in hospital. and the other 20% probably could do it anyway...

At the moment i'm painting a school. 'tis boring, but pays for toys :)

I bet it's cool being out there, but the wildlife in Australia is scary. So much of it can easily kill you.

So are you working as an artist now? That's awesome!

Hehe, not quite. Technically I'm hired as a "cleaner".
But due to the fact that as a favour to me, the school's Principal had to CREATE a job, I pretty much do anything. Currently changing the colour scheme of two of the class rooms... Not quite artistry.

That's nothing. One time I was woken up by a stag beetle, YES A STAG BEETLE, flying up against my curtain and making this deafening sound that sounds like a live, torn electric cable. There was also this one time when a wolf spider found its way into my bathroom. It just sat there, menacingly. Eventually I braved it and put a glass and card over it (like a maverick) and threw it outside. Champion.

You know nothing of dangerous wildlife. Take a venture to London some day, perhaps you'll enlighten yourself!

Pretty much! About a decade ago we had a brief run-in with some kind of poisonous caterpillar but that quickly subsided. Nature's very peaceful to us here, must be something to do with all the hunting that happened a couple of centuries ago.

Yeah, we tried that here... But its hard to hunt down tiny spiders, and a bucket load of poisonous snakes.
