Teleport Chess

Greetings Members of the Jedi Order,

Master Kor, Hopeful Wedge were in the server today( We still are, actually ). We sat in the dojo of the Alzoc III Enclave, when I suddenly noticed the distance between me and Master Kor was twice as big as the distance between Hopeful Wedge and I. We sat in one straight line. Since I couldn't find out the coordinates of Master Kor, as his admin ranks is higher, I had to come up with another way to kill him with teleport!

Lucky me, I could still find out my own, and Wedge's coordinates. So I did, and then I calculated what Master Kor's location should be, considering he was two times further away than Hopeful Wedge was. I tested my calculations, and they were true, Master Kor died.

So what if Master Kor and Hopeful Wedge weren't sitting in one straight line? I could still do the math, provided I made a 90 degree angle with Master Kor and Hopeful Wedge. While this obviously isn't true most of the time, it could work. But, it would be easier to have some sort of field of tiles. This way we could calculate the distance between two tiles. No 90 degree angle, and way more options!

We did all the math, and we though up a little game we could play.

Requirements:

2 Players
1 Admin with teleport
Also, 3 additional players can join, and will improve the quality of the game, but it is not necessary.

Goal:
To win the game one player must give the coordinates to the Game Leader of the ''Spot''.

The Spot is just a set place, or the location of a player. Sitting on the grid, ofcourse.

Rules:

There is one Game Leader, he's the one who figures out the coordinates of ''the Spot''. He makes the Spot up on random, so that every game is different.

There are two people who do the math. They calculate where the Spot is. They battle eachother and the one who finishes his/her math the fastes, wins. The only information information they get:

1) The location of the player they are to be teleporting.
2) Every tile is 1 Wedge big. 1 Wedge is 64 x of length and 64 y of width.*

One when finished his/her calculation they tell the Game Leader. The Game Leader then teleports the calculator, or another player ( if there is another ) to where the calculator thinks the spot is. When they kill the one standing on the spot, they win. But if they miss, the other player wins!

Example:

Master Achilles, Alpha, Kor, Knight Ek and Hopeful Wedge are playing.

Master Achilles leads the game and Master Alpha sits on the Spot.

Master Kor will calculate and so will Hopeful Wedge. Knight Ek will be teleported to where Master Kor or Hopeful Wedge think where Master Alpha is sitting.

The game starts and Master Achilles tells Master Kor and Hopeful Wedge where Knight Ek is standing, and what his coordinates are. After a few sweaty seconds Master Kor shouts some numbers. Knight Ek is teleported and lands on the spot, killing Master Alpha.

Master Kor wins!

Clarification on the unit Wedge:

64 x length:

Let's say I'm Ek, and I'm standing on these coordinates: 1000 1000 1000
Now, would I want to move one Wedge x wise I would teleport to this spot: 1064 1000 1000.

64 x width:

Let's say I'm Ek, and I'm standing on these coordinates: 1000 10000 1000
Now, would I want to move one Wedge y wise I would teleport to this spot: 1000 1064 1000.

That's about it, what do you think?

Little side note, the game can be played with one admin and 2 other players. But it can also be played with many more! Up to about 10, I think.

Hey, that's awesome!

I'll definitely have to play that with you guys when I'm next home, or something.  :)
