When the past returns.
It was a warm sunny day. The swamps and forests of Sembla looked as peacefull as ever. Near one of the few villages that were in use all year long, a group of Vurk stood on a landing platform around two Jedi Starfighters. Among them was a young Zabrak. All the Vurk were dressed in long and expensive robes, like the Elite inhabitants of Sembla always wore. Only one of them didn’t. He was wearing the traditional Jedi clothing, and the lightsaber he carried confirmed that he was a Jedi.
“Thank you for restoring peace once more, my old friend,” said the Vurk wearing the most expensive looking clothes. “I hope we won’t be needing your assistance anymore.” “I think you will, if those tribes don’t become more peace-loving” replied the Jedi with a faint smile. He thought of the countless times he had come back to his homeplanet to restore peace. For some reason, the nomadic Vurk tribes kept on fighting eachother, which was the main reason that the Vurk still had not gained a lot of respect in the Republic. It had been really close this time. For a moment it looked like he wouldn’t be able to persuade the tribe leaders to stop fighting.
If it wasn’t for the brilliant action of his Padawan, they would now still had been fighting. He smiled as he wondered how many times more this Padawan would save him.
“Anything funny Master?” his Padawan asked. “Nothing worth mentioning. I think it is time for us to leave now,” he replied as he turned his face towards the Semblaian elite. As the Vurk who had spoken to them before started thanking them again, both the Padawan and the Jedi Knight felt something changing in the force. “Shhh,” he told the president, and both Master and Padawan started concentrating, scanning the area around them. As the Vurk elite looked worried at this current event, they all of a sudden saw a change of the expresion on the Jedi Knights face. Where he had first merely been focussed, he now looked worried. He had regognised the cause of the change in the force, and that cause worried him.
“Get away from here,” he told the other Vurk, “it is no longer safe. Return to the town and do not allow anyone to wonder of into the jungle.” The Vurk, looking suprised but obeying the Jedi, walked as quickly as their robes allowed them to to the speeder they had used to come to the platform, and they quickly flew of to the village.
“What’s wrong master?” the Zabrak Padawan asked. He had too sensed there was a source of dark energy approaching, but it felt quite weak, and he wondered what had caused his Master to worry so much. “Shh, I think you’ll see in in a minute.” The Knight turned around and stared into the forest. All of a sudden, a human male carrying two lightsabers, a gun and several detonators on his belt and sniper on his back came walking out of the forest.
“Knight Cei Vookto,” he said, “I have returned for another round.” He smiled as he pressed the detonator device he held in his hand. The starfighter the Jedi had been standing next to exploded.
