EA gets multi year deal for Star Wars games

With the downfall of LucasArts, this was a logical move. I hope this means only good things!

I know EA gets a bad wrap by most and, personally, I hate their business, but if more games are being made... then best of luck to them.

Let's not forget that BioWare is a part of EA. They haven't done a bad job at TOR, and they keep improving... Let's hope EA's new CEO will bring some positive changes to the company.

Well I know for certain that, obviously as announced at E3 this year DICE (Swedish Developer of Battlefield) is producing Battlefront 3, which is obviously exciting. And a week or two ago, Bioware obviously got its teeth into another Star Wars game of some kind.

But what excites me is that Visceral, the creators of the Dead Space series, have a contract for a third Star Wars game.

Needless to say - it'll be an exciting year this year, 2014 filled with Star Wars games, and 2015 being home to the release of Star Wars: Episode VII.

It's good, this time last year I was thinking that the Star Wars IP was beginning to die out.
