6. Biography: Growing up wasn't easy. Although my upbringing was relatively adequate, the majority of civilians in coruscant couldn't say the same. The outbreak of the civil war against the Republic and the Sith caused uproar on this rich and influential planet. Gangs were being formed and violence and crime was heightened to the degree that our own people were inflicting war on one another. With Coruscant devastated and in corrupt as a result of the war, the Galactic Alliance, Coruscants centralised governing body, was also affected and began showing signs of weakness.
With my father being commissioned in the Republic, I decided that I wanted to follow in his footsteps and live to serve my duty in the Republic. When I became of the required age to join in the fight against the Sith, I signed up and did so with great honour.
5 years later.... Age-23
I had served in several battles against the Sith, some more successful than others, but was always more than capable of ensuring I returned unscathed and ready to fulfil my duty in seeing this war to the rightful end. As recognition of my duties and my capabilities, I was assigned to an elite squadron named 'Alpha One'. This particular squadron was closely linked to the Jedi council and we were orded work alongside the Jedi in a new assignment on the planet of Alderaan.
This courageous stand on Alderaan rallied the spirits of Republic defenders across the galaxy, but the balance of the power remained in our favour. This only fuelled the surprise felt when the Imperial Dark Council extended the offer to the Republic to engage in peace negotiations. Suspecting possible treachery, Republic officials agreed to meet on Alderaan, but insisted that the Jedi Order marshal all its resources to provide comprehensive security. The Jedi complied, sending most senior members of the Order to Alderaan, and leaving only a token force in the Temple on Coruscant. I, alongside members of Alpha One, were instructed to assist the remaining Jedi in the Temple in case of an attack by Imperial forces.
This, unfortunately, was the case, as the Jedi Temple came under attack by numerous waves of Imperial fleets. Me and my squadron fought long and hard, but the Imperials defences were impenetrable and the vast number of forces became too much for my squad as all were KIA (Killed In Action).
After destroying the Jedi Temple and overwhelming our defenses, Imperial forces occupied Coruscant, holding the planet hostage while negotiations restarted on Alderaan. With our capital at stake, Republic officials had little choice but to agree to the Empire's terms.
Seeing that I was the last remaining trooper of the exceptional Alpha One squadron, the Republic knew that in my state I could potentially be a threat not only to myself, but to the negotiations of gaining peace amongst the galaxy, so they had no option but to dishonourably discharge me from the alliance, if the treaty was to be signed.
2 years later....
Though the treaty brought about an official end to the war, tensions between the two sides had remained high over the last couple of years, and now, a return to open war seemed all but inevitable.
Now sanctioned in a facility on the mountainous plains and volcanic islands of Ord Mantell, I wish to serve the Republic once more in dedication of the troops of Alpha One who sacrificed their lives, and bring rightful peace to the galaxy....
