Mass Effect
« on: May 15, 2007, 12:31 PM »
I'm surprised that although many of you are obviously fans of Knights of the Old Republic, there hasn't been a thread created for Bioware's next RPG game that is coming out and I must say, its very promising!

Set 200 years in the future in an epic universe, “Mass Effect” places gamers in a vast galactic community in danger of being conquered by a legendary agent gone rogue. A spectacular new vision from legendary developers BioWare, “Mass Effect” challenges players to lead a squad of freedom fighters as they struggle against threatening armies to restore peace in the land. “Mass Effect” is the first in a trilogy of games with an overarching story, where the real conflict between organic beings and artificial intelligence comes to life in startling clarity.

Nah I use my LCD '19 Flat Screen that I also use with my computer. I bought a switch for 5 bucks that just switches between the two inputs to the monitor. Pure gaming bliss!

And to answer your question the shots are indeed shots of actual gameplay. As beautiful as it looks, it shines the most when it moves. The facial animation is unlike anything I've ever seen in a game before.

This game does look awesome. I downloaded the demos for it on my 360, and all the ingame shots look better than any CG I've ever seen.
