McAfree is harder to uninstall from a computer than it is to take the car keys away from an unsteady grandfather with poor eyesight.  Same with Norton.  They are both old men with nothing better to do than keep a tight grip on your computer.

Immortality in a program isn't a good thing... it should die.  It shouldn't have operating problems, but it needs to die sometime.  The lack of death in programs creates overpopulation in the circuits and soon all the electrons are eaten and all the processes starve.  They deadlock on resources and thus the computer can accomplish nothing.

Good point, but the program will out last us there for it will be up to our childrens children to annihilate all computer prog's, and components there for just like te matrix (for a time)
Machine/Computers>Man especially once AI becomes a little too much like the human mind kinda like Ghost int he shell, which I watche a discovery channel special, and they are close to being able to transfer minds into computers, having an actual AI with human thoughts.l no joke, i kid you not

I can easily surpass a computer.  All I have to is walk up to it and pour root beer into it.  It obviously can't handle being human if it can't handle root beer.
