Will have a new PC delivered soon and got a new monitor after having this PC and monitor for almost 7 years, so was looking for any recommendations on PC games. It should run any games so I'm open to anything really. I like RPG's, shooters, adventure just about anything really that sparks my interest. Had a little look on google and counter strike global offensive seems to have good reviews, any of you guys tried it?

CS:GO's alright. I'd suggest looking into Rainbow Six: Siege, Star Citizen, Nostalrius if you miss the classic WoW vanilla days and want that nostalgia hit on a quiet day... other things I'd suggest you already had access to on your PS4- Rocket League and Battlefront (I like it but a lot of people don't, and I can see why) for example.

Yeah I looked at Rainbow for PS4 and tried the beta it was quite fun. I might have a look into getting it for PC. Yeah I have rocket league on ps4 it's a fun game though I must admit. Also have battlefront on ps4 haven't played it much though. Have you tried Dead rising 3? I've read it seems to be fun and I did like the first one, just skipped the second and the third was a Xbox exclusive.

Thanks for the suggestions though, definitely look into Siege. See what the prices are right now for it.

Yeah, gave it a go. Wasn't the biggest fan, but I'm not all that really into single player games so didn't play it much. I'm probably not the best judge!

Let me know if you grab it :)

Star Citizen's fine if you want potential, but if you want an actual game, you'd be better off looking into Elite: Dangerous :P

GTA 5 for the pc, so you can play the game with me there, if you don't feel like hooking up your ps3 to play it.  I say this, since I can't join you in games on the ps4, since I don't have that.  lol

Where is Fallout 4? Hello? Guys?

If you ever liked Skyrim, that thing is great.

I prefer to have the option to roleplay, in a roleplaying game. New Vegas is the way to go :P

It's actually possible to obtain your own minor faction within the game, and support them by doing missions. And of course, you get to fly around in space ships. What more can you want? :P

I liked the direction E:D took initially, but the planetary exploration behind a paywall plus the empty vastness is a turn-off for me personally (not to mention being bound to your ship). I see the appeal for others though, definitely. Seems like a decent game.

The paywall is similar to an MMO subscription. The idea is that the game will keep getting content for the next 10 (now 9) years. They need money to do it, so every year's content updates cost a fair amount. I'm happy enough paying that. I've paid £60 total, and I've gotten over 170 hours so far. That's more than enough value for money in my opinion.

This year's content updates actually include character creation (http://cdn.mmos.com/wp-content/gallery/elite-dangerous-egx/elitedangerouscommandercreator.jpg), and multi crew (https://i.imgur.com/O058tS5.jpg). By the sound of things, next year will likely introduce SpaceLegs(TM), where you can walk around.

As for the vastness.... yeah. Space is big. There is content, if you can find it. I admit it feels a bit empty, but then you can find yourself in a battle with 4 dozen NPCs in a Combat Zone. There are hundreds of those in the inhabited bubble. And the bubble is tiny. I'm currently 5,000 light years away from civilised space, just exploring the black.

It's not everyone's cup of tea. You have to make your own fun, find things to do yourself. I'm not always happy with it, I've taken an extended break, but I'm back now and loving it. And I imagine it gets much better once you invest yourself in a minor faction. Try to help them gain power and whatnot. And I'm pretty sure you can ask the developers to put a minor faction in the game for your community if it has enough members, or something like that.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys :) PC came yesterday, after some setting up and putting a SSD into it I'm very pleased. Couldn't be happier with it.

I bought Rainbow Six Siege and Rise of Tomb Raider among some others, really good games. Tomb Raider is a especially a very beautiful looking game.
