I got my laptop to meet specs for JA, all passed.
I tried two differnt ISO to install my JA, but when game loads, it just cuts out b4 getting to the menu and gives me Error report from Xfire or windows, doesnt say anything specific.
I dont have physical disk's, never had.
specs:
XP
pleanty HDD space
1.04 Mhz Athlon
512 Ram
DX 9.0c
Video SiS 740
Keep in mind its a lap top

I had a similar problem. Try reinstalling the game, may have just installed it with a bad file. Remember to delete all the JA files before reinstalling.

It's an old integrated chipset that wasn't that good(Its older in JK2 from what I have read). From what I read it may not be powerful enough to run the game at all which could be why it just crashes out. Even if it is.. it won't be a pretty site but my advice fork out the $10 for a real CD. http://software.pricegrabber.com/computer-games/m/19957488/search=Jedi%20knight

I couldn't get Daemon Tools to run on my friend's computer, so I just burned her the CDs for JKA and that works alright.

I tried all routs when it comes to installing.
I'll repeat for 2nd page
I install and run from daemon tools, I burn onto CD install from CD and try to play from CD, then from Daemon tools, even try from install w/ daemon tools run from CD, useing all or just one of the securom emulations. tried to launch from both shortcut and Xfire

It's entirely possible JKA just doesn't support the graphics your using and can't run at all on them because of it so mind you just because it could possibly be powerfully enough although I wouldn't count on it, JKA may not support the onboard graphics so it just crashes out. If thats the case your pretty screwed. But I can't find much stuff on those graphics. Typical SiS stupid junk.
