Yea i play it, it's pretty awesome. I love the American Campaing, in the coast where you have to use a rope to climb the cliffs.

I completed it in SP as I have no internet and I was too tired to work.

I love that level too Master Lei, one of the most dramatic parts of World War II was the beaches of normandy.

used to play this in a clan but they turned on me, so i quit the game shortly after that becuz it had just came out and there was no punkbuster so almost everyone was cheating..

right now i play jka and only jka oh and saints  row :P

I play Call of Duty 2, only because it is the best FPS I have at the moment....

I love the SP action; it's fun and cinematic (D-Day and the Russian campaigns roxxors)

But the game itself I think...is terrible. Namely, realism is essentially thrown out the window in the game. Laser bullets, lethal wounds that do not kill, uber throwing of grenades....bleh.
And sadly, mods that make a move for realism are always lacking in something else. ex. the Merciless mod has great effects, but it angers me that the game itself and the mod means that I can pump someone's chest with half a clip of SMG rounds, and they STILL kill me.

I got stuck on the bit where you have to keep the tank from being blown to pieces on big red one =D and can never complete it

Lol.  Point Du Hoc is amazing, but the scene in the Russian Campaign where you're taking back Stalingrad coming in on the boats, then you get off and get no gun.  That level is ridiculous.  The worst part is when they do the charges later, so everyone has guns, except for the guy in the front running with a flag.
