It seemed like yesterday when the US had a deficit of around 2 billion dollars or something.
Current debt: approx. $9 trillion (http://www.brillig.com/debt_clock/)
US Feds say $6 trillion three months ago. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_public_debt)
What are your thoughts on this? You can find the deficit chart nearly anywhere. There is a clear sign as to when the national debt raised: when Bush Sr. was in charge, and currently now in George Bush's reign. Now, I'm not really pointing finger at him or anything, but the number certainly tell a tale, even if you put the population rise and inflation.
Thoughts?
-
what is the point of this? Sure both Bush's spend more then we make. Theres nothing we can really do about it until hes out of office.
-
-.- It is a debate, so the point serves to be discussed.
:/ Surely you can have more of an open mind and start blaming people, sigh. I have a feeling that debates aren't going to be fun here.
-
U know this is a game wesite dont u man?
i dont understand debates, everybody knows im always right anyway
You american SLAP stop humiliating yourself
(dont know why that was relevant but its a great film so whatever)
-
Why not have a debate, lol.
He wants a debate, you give him one.
-
I see no problem with doing a debate and this section is called ''Discussion about other stuff'' So it doesen't necessarily needs to be a game discussion section. Could be real life, could be anything really.
Of course though, not breaking the rules of the forums.

:D And that is why I posted it in this area xD Surely you don't think about JKA all the time?
-
Of course not, I think about many plans to kill barney too.
-
Great minds think alike
-
I realy do not think that 9 trillion is that much for a country, you gotta consider the rate of inflation, I remember when gas was less then $1 per gallon, and look at it now.
-
I guess the real question is, has the price of the dollar gone up since you saw gas for a dollar?
-
I think I should say only one thing The Euro has risen 11% in compare with the US $
And it's like this .
1 US $ = 0,72 Euros
also don't forget to add the amount of mony that just dissapeared in some ppl's pockets.
