I dont know who has this or not, but I reccomend it, because it detects malicious sites, and prevents site access and also deletes spyware that sites place in your cookies file, goto download.com and look it up spyware, and adaware free I highly reccomend it.

While we're talking about add-ons... if anyone wants to download videos from YouTube I have one that lets you do it.

:-/ I dislike McAfree.  Avast, Sygate, and some Firefox addons do its job without the great loss of CPU power, and they do the job better.

well yes there is the mass cpu loss with mcafee now come to think of it each time i had avg and mcafee running at the same time my comp would start to overload the page file and since i have mcafee security suit i dnt need avg anmore so when i stoped using avg my page file stoped messing up 8)

haha u guys aren't using it right ;), I have nevber had a problem with Mcafee, but lets talk about Norton, holy shnikies I think that norton is by far the worse anti-virus/whatever I have ever used in my life. Lets talk about bugs and crashes, and the fact that you'll still get a virus., Mcafee will tell you, you have a virus it just wont d anything about it if it is some form of a trojan, so then you have to take care of it yourself
: Re: Mcafee Site advisor
: Jaden May 23, 2007, 11:05 AM
well that was the nice thing about avg it would take care of that stuff but it seems like i cant have mcafee and it runnign at the same time :-\ but anywho norton cause problems with you game also
: Re: Mcafee Site advisor
: Nejj Evnairis May 23, 2007, 11:50 AM
yeah norton and swg do not mix, well back in 2003 they didnt, everytime i would be int he middle of a fight or bandwidth increase norton would bite down on it like a 2 cent well you get the idea

McAfree is harder to uninstall from a computer than it is to take the car keys away from an unsteady grandfather with poor eyesight.  Same with Norton.  They are both old men with nothing better to do than keep a tight grip on your computer.

I agree except you forgot that humans die therefore Mcafee>Grandfather (in a bad way of course)

Immortality in a program isn't a good thing... it should die.  It shouldn't have operating problems, but it needs to die sometime.  The lack of death in programs creates overpopulation in the circuits and soon all the electrons are eaten and all the processes starve.  They deadlock on resources and thus the computer can accomplish nothing.

Grandpa > McAfree

Good point, but the program will out last us there for it will be up to our childrens children to annihilate all computer prog's, and components there for just like te matrix (for a time)
Machine/Computers>Man especially once AI becomes a little too much like the human mind kinda like Ghost int he shell, which I watche a discovery channel special, and they are close to being able to transfer minds into computers, having an actual AI with human thoughts.l no joke, i kid you not

I can easily surpass a computer.  All I have to is walk up to it and pour root beer into it.  It obviously can't handle being human if it can't handle root beer.
